If Ron Paul is so unpopular, why is he raising more money than most other candidates?

Check out his website: www.RonPaul2008.com

He is past $11,500,000 for the quarter.

Huckabee only raised $1.5 million for the month so far.

Ron Paul will raise that much in an hour on Sunday.

Are Ron's supporters stupid paranoid nuts? Or do they understand something the rest of the country hasn't figured out yet?

Because we are on the cusp of a revolution....we are sick of the same molded politicians and what 'they will do for us'. The current political system ONLY works for the wealthy and special interest groups. Todays politicians are bought and paid for!!! screw it, throw the bums out!...I want my country back and my wasted tax dollars to stop being squandered.....America is on the cusp of revolution and if RonPaul fails, the next time we will get louder until Liberty is restored!!!

    Throw the bums out!

Huzzah ! Throw tea in the harbor at Boston. He is going to hit at least 15 million for the 4th quarter, expect the usual Paul raises tons of money message from the press with a failure to hype any of the many great policies he has proposed.

    Uhhh...he isn't...

Through the 3rd Quarter Ron Paul had raised $8.2 Million.

Of all the candidates that puts him essentially tied for 10th...

Rudy, Mitt, Thompson and McCain raised more for the republicans

Obama, Hllary, Edwards, Chris Dodd?...Bill Richardson? have raised more for the dems..

Joe Biden...THE Joe Biden had raised the same as Paul...a little over 8.2 million.

    Facts are nasty things there..

Ron Paul has supporters...he will raise some money..more than most of the other fringe candidates....

I have a better chance of being president than he does....

See, I am not basing my candidacy on donations from white supremacists, holocaust deniers, neo-nazis...

Because his supporters are nuts, and willing to send their hard earned money to an annoying, whiny old nutjob, who will never be supported by a large percentage of normal human beings. Don't forget, people also spent millions buying milli vanilli cds at one time. Stupid people do stupid things.

he is not raising more money than other candidates; he is just raising more for the month than other candidates. if you look at the total amount donated leading up to the primaries, Ron Paul is still behind. he just raised more money in a shorter time frame, and is getting a lot of press attention for it.

just as he and his supporters planned and anticipated.

Nice plug, however, that is all pledges. Pledges don't buy gas. See how much of those pledges he actually gets. He will never reveal that.

Huckabee has poor organization. But what really matters is results. Apparently Huckabee doesn't need money to appeal to voters, as Ron Paul so clearly does not. He is a radical with no tact.

Good fundraising doesn't make good candidates either. Hillary Clinton raised a lot of money too, you know.

A better question would be: If he is so popular why is he so far behind?

Ron Paul doesn't accept lobbyed money too but I guess thats why the working class is supporting him.

Even if I am the only one in my district I will cast my vote. And tomorrow if about 100,000 people are thinking like me it'll be a 10,000,000 dollar day. Lot of ads there.
