  • Do anti-Ron Paul people want the USA to fail economically?

I can't understand why otherwise enlightened people think it is kooky to support free enterprise, honest money and limited government. Can any Ron Paul critics rationally explain their position, or do they not understand basic economics?

  • Did you see the media smear on Ron Paul, then their retraction a few days later?

    http://themedium.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/12/26/edit...

A post in The Medium that appeared on Monday about the Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul and his purported adoption by white supremacist and neo-Nazi groups contained several errors.

    ...

Paul never attended these dinners, according to Benton, who also says that Paul has never knowingly met Bill White.

    ...

The original post should not have been published with these unverified assertions and without any response from Paul.

  • Did you see the NY Times retraction of their Ron Paul smear?

    http://themedium.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/12/26/edit...

A post in The Medium that appeared on Monday about the Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul and his purported adoption by white supremacist and neo-Nazi groups contained several errors.

    ...

The original post also repeated a string of assertions by Bill White, the commander of the American National Socialist Workers Party, including the allegation that Paul meets regularly “with members of the Stormfront set, American Renaissance, the Institute for Historic Review and others” at a restaurant in Arlington, Va. Paul never attended these dinners, according to Benton, who also says that Paul has never knowingly met Bill White.

  • Do you see evidence that Ron Paul's campaign is the beginning of a new political era in the USA?

The grassroots support that keeps building is actually getting noticed by the mainstream media.

  • Will the mainstream media succeed in ignoring Ron Paul, now that he keeps raising money like a 1st tier candid

    ...candidate?

The rigged polls keep being used as proof that NOBODY supports Ron Paul.

What did he have, 30,000 new donors?

NO corporate PACs, like Hillary and the rest get.

Ron is truly a man of the people, unlike the rest of the Establishment candidates.

  • Is the friendly Yahoo! mouse the kinder, gentler big brother?

He asks you: "Does your question meet our Community Guidelines?"

Like not mentioning the website of Ron Paul?

  • Want PROOF of censorship in America? Look at Yahoo!?

Yahoo! blocks your answers if you included Ron Paul's website.

Somebody at the top DOESN"T want you to know about Ron Paul. Real silly of them. All a person has to do is search for Ron Paul.

What next, will Yahoo! , google and the rest of the mainstream internet companies act like China and monitor the web for forbidden thoughts?

What are they afraid of? The truth?

  • Which candidate raised the most money from individual donors in a single day?

What does that mean? That candidate has wide support?

If I mention any names, this question could be deleted by Yahoo censors.

  • Did you know Ron Paul's campaign will have a record fundraising day tomorrow?

I know the Yahoo censors will probably delete this to the memory hole, but hey, just another example of the conspiracy to exclude Ron Paul.

But hey, too bad, the word is out.

  • Will Ron Paul's servers be able to handle the massive donation traffic tomorrow?

It is the Tea Party, the beginning of a revolution.

Freedom good, socialism bad. Which side are you on?

  • Do Ron Paul supporters understand something other Americans don't?

When Ron talks about the Federal Reserve, fiat currency and gold reserves, do most people have any idea what he is talking about? Could that be the reason he is considered a kook, because most people are economically ignorant?

If you answer this question, name at least one economic book you have read besides macro or micro economics you took in college.

  • If Ron Paul is so unpopular, why is he raising more money than most other candidates?

    Check out his website: www.RonPaul2008.com

He is past $11,500,000 for the quarter.

Huckabee only raised $1.5 million for the month so far.

Ron Paul will raise that much in an hour on Sunday.

Are Ron's supporters stupid paranoid nuts? Or do they understand something the rest of the country hasn't figured out yet?

  • Will the Ron Paul blimp help raise him in the polls?

The liberal mainstream media won't be able to ignore him, or repeatedly smear him as a kook now that more people will actually learn about him.

Freedom and prosperity are GOOD things.

  • Did you know Mike Huckabee wants to be in the CFR?

He just spoke at the Council on Foreign Relations, telling him that he is willing to continue the war on terror, and he will use the State Department to funnel our tax money overseas into nation building projects.

Our tax money keeps going into the military-industrial complex thanks to power hungry politicians like him.

    http://www.cfr.org/publication/14335/mike_huckabee...

Ron Paul has been opposed the the CFR for years, he is a member of the House Foreign Relations Committee, so he knows what goes on behind the scenes. Big government and big business are screwing the USA.

    Vote Ron Paul.

  • Do Ron Paul critics even understand the issues when they call him a kook?

It is depressing when not only liberals (who know nothing about economics beyond "you have it, government take it") , but conservatives criticize Ron Paul and parrot the mainstream media by calling him a kook.

Have any of you critics even read an economics book other than Das Kapital (by Karl Marx for you completely clueless liberals )?

If you don't like Ron Paul, can you name a specific economic issue that you don't agree with? Such as ending the income tax, returning to a gold standard, reducing the size of government? And if you CAN name an issue instead of resorting to name calling and personal attacks, do you have a legitimate argument other than the failed communist rubbage?

If so, I would like to hear it. And not some made up nonsense like "Ron Paul wants the rich to get richer and poor to get poorer". If that is all you can offer, you need to grow up.

    12 AnswersElections1 decade ago
  • Why is everyone so scared of Ron Paul? People keep smearing him and avoid debating the issues.?

The mainstream media would rather focus on a Nevada brothel that endorses him, or the credit card fraud of a couple hundred dollars that smear artist probably did.

Why don't people acknowledge the REAL issues, like why does a "capitalist" country like the USA have a Marxist income tax?

Or why we tolerate a fraudulent monetary system that is destroying our dollar and robbing our citizens with inflation?

Or why should we have to pay to blow up bridges in other countries in undeclared wars, then pay to build new ones, while our bridges are crumbling here?

Why should we defend Iraq's border, when our borders are being overrun will illegal immigrants?

Can Ron Paul detractors answer questions like these RATIONALLY? Or maybe they can't so they resort to calling names and attacking people's characters.

  • Why does the media ignore Democrat corruption?

The Democratic Party is extremely corrupt, look at Shrillary's shady campaign contributions. William Jefferson's frozen cash. Harry Reid's land deals. etc, etc.

The liberal mainstream media overdoses the public on minor Republican stuff like Larry Craig (creepy, yes, but corrupt? no), or non-issues like Cheney falling asleep during a meeting.

Will the MSM ever report the truth about how rotten Democrats are? Or is it up to the alternative media and internet to inform the public?

  • Would Ron Paul's idea of non-intervention and open commerce make better foreign policy than what we have now?

The million dollar question is: how do we, the people, prevent our leaders in Washington from getting us involved in foreign affairs that will eventually compromise our security and freedom?

My suggestion: end the income tax so the federal government doesn't have billions of our dollars to waste on foreign aid. End the Federal Reserve System so the federal government can't borrow unlimited funds to waste on wars and foreign aid.

But our current culture of government worship will never accept those ideas; look how Ron is labeled a kook by both the left and right.

We need smaller government if we value our freedom, but most people no longer value freedom. They want their expensive baubles, entertainment, and a sense that they can somehow run everyone else's lives.

  • Did a ghost REALLY impregnate a virgin?

Suppose a girl claimed that she was a virgin, but she is pregnant because a ghost planted his seed in her. Not her fiance who she has been traveling with. Oh yeah, her son will save us from the imperialists and lead us into eternal salvation after he is tortured to death and comes back to life.

Would modern science be able to verify her claims?

Would our legal system take her seriously?

What if Christians who worked in the science and legal and any other profession that depended on rational thought applied it to their religious beliefs? Would we have to dismantle our civilization in order to accomodate our religon? Or would people take a serious consideration of the irrationality of our dominant religon?
