Breath and body odor from hydrocodone syrup??
My 4 year old had a tonsillectomy 4 days ago. He has been taking Hydrocodone syrup since. For the last 3 days he has been exuding a really odd smell, especially from his breath. Is this a known side-effect? It smells a bit like urine after you eat asparagus... odd...

Its not the hydrocodone...it from the procedure.Ive had 4 children who all had the same thing done and all of them had horrindous breath.It also happens when adnoids are removed.I dont know what it is,but if you ask the doc,they will confirm what I said and tell you an explaination
