What happened to Jim Ross?
I wasn't able to watch Raw on Monday, and started recording it late, and was just wondering why JR wasn't on the telecast with the rest of the crew?

Were any of the commentators in Iraq? I might be wrong on this one but I think King and Cole were back in the States commentating on this here, with it being taped and all, it wasn't a live show. If not, I'm sure he was given the holiday off.

For those who don't know, none of the announcers went to Iraq. The announcing was done from WWE's headquarters in Stamford Connecticut. JR probably didn't do the announcing because he might've been on vacation.

Because he's drinking beers with Steve Austin at Texas... that's why The master of the middle finger is also not in Iraq this year.

I'm guessing he chose not to go to Iraq for Tribute to the Troops...he could have personal reasons. I'm sure he will be back next time Raw has a regular show.

HE PROBALY JUST DIDNT WANT TO GO TO IRAQ. THE WHOLE TRIP IS OPTIONAL FOR THE WRESTLERS AND MAYBE HE WAS JUST WORRIED ABOUT HIS SAFETY GOING THERE.
