Do GLBTs know that there is a WELCOMING religion that does not condemn them to hell but supports??

Question

I am not trying to convert or to preach but as having recently found the Unitarian Church I am very excited. This is a church that does not believe that being gay is a sin and actually supports gay rights and ordains gay ministers. Not just that but they believe in racial equality, womens rights, caring for the enviroment (alot of pagan references) and also believes that everyone has a right to worship God as they feel is right for them. There is so much more than what I even know. I know this is not a question but I wanted to put out the information. Atheists...you would feel comfortable there too. www.uua.org

I'm an atheist and I don't think any atheists feel comfortable with church, we don't believe in god, that's the whole point. But I see what your saying, yes the Unitarian Church is a good alternative for those LGBT who are religious.

Unitarian Universalists, as well as the United Church of Christ and the Metropolitan Community Church, have a history of being welcoming congregations concerned more with faith than with condemnation.

yes there is the Unitarian Church, there is also the Metropolitan Community Church, the United Methodist Church, the United Church of Christ...........

yea just about every other religion in the world except christianity accepts homosexuality to some degree.....

The Unitarian Church is a social group.
If that is what you need...fine.
Jesus is the One Who gets you close to God.
He is the One Who forgives and changes lives.
There IS such a thing as TRUTH.
Jesus says "I am the way, the truth and the life,
no one comes to the Father except by Me."
We can love and be loved by Jesus as we are.
We give our heart and life to Him,
including our sexuality! I can tell you, Jesus has
taken a lot of confusion away about why I am the
way I am, and has given me peace to know He
loves me unconditionally, even if I'm never perfect!
We NEED this kind of love and understanding.
I've been to Unitarian services, and left there a lot
more confused than before.
JESUS is the answer! He doesn't condemn...
JESUS SAVES US FROM HELL AND GIVES US
ETERNAL LIFE IN HIM.  Pardon me for getting
excited, but it's really so awesome!
