My blood sugar has been fluctuating between hi and normal for awhile...Any suggestions why?

reduce the amount of carbs you take in. I've been diabetic for 9 years. I've found the best way to regulate my sugars is to stop eating anything that has more than 5 grams of sugar and / or carbs. stop eating sweetened cereal, chips , popcorn and eat more healthy substitutes. the worst thing for you is processed sugars and corn syrup.

Avoid sugar and high amounts of carbohydrates. Eat balanced meals with whole grains at regular times. Losing weight helps control diabetes.

The stuff that you are eating can cause those fluctuations. Just add more protien in and count your carbs better and over a week or two you will get the ideal number of grams to eat in a meal to have steadily normal blood sugar.
