in the winter, what are some ways to burn fat/ build muscle tone?

that dont involve gym memberships, im 16 and want something i can do at home.

    do 250 sit-ups in the morning and 250 sit-ups before bed.

    Also do leg squats against the wall. 3 sets of 20 will do fine.

    Make sure you squat all the way down and come up slowly.

    Do this every other day or till you stop hurting .

    Riding the stationary bike for 30 minutes.

    And doing pull-ups 3 sets of 30-40.

    Well, maybe it depends where you are living cause where I am, I've joined a gym for 8-9 months and I'm only fifteen. At home, buy some dumbells to build some muscle tone and for cardio, you can always jump rope indoors if you have a massive house :P, buy a stationary bike/cardio equipement or just go for a jog outside (for that you will just need a pair of runners). As for muscle toning without weights/equipment, do pushups, squats, lunges, crunches...

    get a treadmill and run on it. it burns alot of calories, and builds muscle. also it kind of makes you feel like you outside running again like in the summer. :]

    but also any weight lifting can help your arms, and push ups and sit ups and anything really with resistance will build muscle, and in turn burn fat.

    hmmmmm......at home????? i was going to suggest skiing or snowboarding. snowshoeing maybe around ur house???? i really don't know, sorry. have some fun with it!!!!!!!
