Does God only favour those who believe in Him ?

God only favours those who have positive attitude and positive thinking in all situations. Those who worship God in dogmatic way and at the same time think negativily as they expect God to take care of them and if they do not get, they get disappointed but keep on following the same rituals, they do not get anything from God. Whereas a person with casual approach to life but positive thinking will be able to gain much. This is my experience in life with respect to life of my own father. If u appreciate urself, God will also appreciate u.

A man who believes in God can never find God. If you are open to reality, there can be no belief in reality. If you are open to the unknown, there can be no belief in it. After all, belief is a form of self-protection, and only a petty mind can believe in God. Look at the belief of the aviators during the war who said God was their companion? as they were dropping bombs! So you believe in God when you kill, when you are exploiting people. You worship God and go on ruthlessly extorting money, supporting the army-yet you say you believe in mercy, compassion, kindliness. ...As long as belief exists, there can never be the unknown; you cannot think about the unknown, thought cannot measure it. The mind is the product of the past, it is the result of yesterday, and can such a mind be open to the unknown? It can only project an image, but that projection is not real; so your god is not God - it is an image of your own making, an image of your own gratification. There can be reality only when the mind understands the total process of itself and comes to an end. When the mind is completely empty - only then is it capable of receiving the unknown. The mind is not purged? until it understands the content of relationship-its relationship with property, with people-until it has established the right relationship with everything. Until it understands the whole process of conflict in relationship, the mind cannot be free. Only when the mind is wholly silent, completely inactive, not projecting, when it is not seeking and is utterly still-only then that which is eternal and timeless comes into being.

No!! A country will develop and progress according to the industry, honesty, discipline and other virtues of its people. Switzerland is a small country and it has limited natural resources like metals. So, they have the watch ( Rolex ) industry because of the limited metal. They are experts in banking and their tourist spots are properly developed and international conferences are also held there bacause the place is peaceful. Even the Vatican employs the Swiss as guards. Look at Nevada State, USA. It is a mainly a desert. But their leaders and people decided to go in the Entertainment business. They also have a Divorce Law that is simple and not expensive. Others, we have Singapore, Taiwan, Hongkong, Macao, The Neitherlands, Luxembourg, Monaco. Look at Japan and Germany. Inspite of two global war defeats, they came out of the ashes and these two countries are again one of the top ten economic power nations. God does not play favorites. Law

Considering life itself as a gift from God, I would say He has allowed a lot of non-believers and cruel people alive, so, yes, He favors everyone.

God gives us all the chance to progress and gives us the free will as an important tool for our progress. If we fail, we will have another chance in another life. A life is never in vain, there is always learning in it.

God doesn't favor this or that without a reason, therefore we favor ourselves by our attitude and thoughts in this life, because everything God does for us is conditioned to our spiritual progress.

Two individuals doing the same form of worship are never the recipients of similar favours from 'God'.

One may argue that the intensity and genuineness of 'worship' differed but there can be no standard scale of measurement of the same.

'Karma' is said to play a role in all matters pertaining to human acts.

I believe he favors everyone by giving us life, and trying deeply to save us. But we won't listen/believe because of the devil. God cares for us since he made us don't you think? I feel like you sometimes, but I know when and if I get to Heaven there will be sooo much more than we could imagine.

God favors those who invite Him to be their God. God's primary favor has to do with imparting Eternal life to you. God does bless many of His believers with material thing that they stand in need of but remember what the Scriptures caution, "...What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and yet forfeits his soul".

No,He favours all,only few would know or take it.In Rg Veda,God's Statement is ' pancha janaa mama hotram jushanta ' - all the five class of people are eligible to worship Him: Intellectuals,Rulers,Traders,Labourers and Dasyus(-the thieves, the crooks,the criminals including non believers) and with it they can reap all the benefits on this earth such as the purusharthas i.e.,fulfillment of lust,wealth,Eternal Law and liberation.

God does not indulge in partiality.

What you get is what you are entitled to. May be people who believe in God, strive more in the material world too. So it might be a byproduct of belief system.

God loves all his children. Reading your second sentence, obviously many people who do not believe in God are very wealthy, and "succesful" in the material world, but I've seen many fall, especially when the wealth is accumulated by exploiting or by inmoral practices.
