What's the highest level player you've ever played with?
I've played with both a former ECHL guy (who led the Greensboro Generals in penalty minutes and had the check of the game 5 straight games) And a Junior A player for the Junior Everblades (both are related to one of my teamates- the ECHL guy is his brother in law, Pro prospect is his son)
I know LITY played with NHL guys....
So what about you? Played with anyone good?

I cannot get close to the caliber of LITY's list but here is mine. I included the highest level the players reached for some of the lesser known names.
I have played against
Youth Hockey: Jeremy Roenick, Tony Amonte, Jim Dowd
High School: Mike Richter, Ryan Mulhern (NHL), Andy Ross (ECHL), Mike Black(ECHL)
College: Rod Brind'Amour, Peter White, Jim Cummins, Kip Miller, Jason Wooley, Joe Spinelli(ECHL)
Beer League/Summer Select League: Jeff Harding, Mark Eaton, Shawn Cronin, Ray Staziak (NHL), Esa Tikanen, Ray DiLauro (AHL)
I have played with
Jamie Leach (NHL), Ken Goetz (ECHL), Steve Gatzos (NHL), Antti Autere(ECHL) and Steve Chelios(ECHL)

I wanted the two points!
I've played with (at the NHL Pre-season level)
3 Art Ross Winners
3 Hart Trophy Winners
1 Lady Byng Winner
1 Norris Trophy Winner
1 Vezina Winner
1 Calder Winner
1 Conn Smythe Winner
9 Post season all-stars
3 1000 pt scorers
12 Hall of Famers
26 Stanley Cup Rings (okay...so training camp in 1961 had lots of rings available from the April before)
I played against other future NHLers while in junior, and growing up in Montreal (at the time the hockey capital of the universe)
I have to admit I'm surprised that so few of you played travel hockey with/against future NHL stars. I thought the number would be a lot higher.

I played with/against an AHL all-star. He had great skills but he was only about 5'4.
I also played in several pick up games with some players from San Diego's professional roller hockey team. Some of them were good but there were a few who didn't deserve to play at any level of professional hockey(even on roller blades).
I played with/against some former Junior A guys in college. They were hands down the best and most complete players in the conference.

The only current pro that I have gotten a chance to play with is Nick Foligno. He spent some time in Hershey when his dad was the coach of the Bears.
I have been lucky to skate with a few great players at a casual level, Tim Kerr probably being the most sucessful pro of that bunch.
I played regularly at the rink I ran with:
Johnny Murray- goalie in the Blue Jackets system
Chris Snavely- Won national title as a MSU defenseman

While I have never played on an organized hockey team, I was a teammate of a pitcher who was drafted in the 26th round of the 1999 MLB draft by the New York Yankees. Also in junior high and high school I played intermural sports with Todd France (who I also attended college with). He was a kicker for the New York Giants, Tampa Bay Buccanneers, Minnesota Vikings (signed his first contract with the Vikes), and Philadelphia Eagles (replaced David Akers for a few games while he was injured in 2005). It turns out that France was one of the best athletes to ever attend my high school (Rick Upchurch was a Pro Bowl NFL player from the 1970s Denver Broncos, and used to date Condelizza Rice). He lettered in football, basketball, and soccer (earning 12 letters)!

Played with some former Junior A players in college. They certainly elevated the play.
Played pick up/shinny a couple times a week with some AHL and NHL players one summer too.

I used to coach kids and had a former NHL player come out and practise with us. He also played a few father/son games with us. Does this count? Oddly enough, I believe he is a friend of LITY's.

Grew up with Ron Ellis. Played with Tony McKegney's brother Ian (3 games with the Chi Hawks,) one of the Bob Murdochs, and Ron Smith (Roger Neilson's eye in the Sky) as a young man. In my Old timers days I played against the NHL old timers a number of times and against the fathers of a number of present day NHL players.
As a minor hockey coach we would play against the Bantam AAA team quite often. Do my Whitby kids ring a bell DeGray, Nieuwendyk, Roberts, Foote, Primeau(s) (Jaimie) Allison, and Ling. ring a bell.
Spending 40+ years in the rink at all levels of the game I got to meet many players. The most fun was a game in Whitby one time with the three Dillon brothers on a line with me and a father of a AHL Player.
EDIT - ...At the end of my playing days spent 2 years on an old timers team with Shotgun Tommy Simpson of the WHA.
Edit #2 - .. Why so surprised LITY most of us were the fat kid who used to bring the oranges to the benchs between periods. Fortunately for me I was big enough and I could skate well enough to be last picked often enough to ring up a fine resume of who I knew. Early names were from University Hockey. I was on the scrub team at U of W in the late 60's.

I have played with an ex-NHL player. He is the uncle of one of my teammates. I didn't know that. I had met him before. She and I had played on the same team just never came up . We had a co-ed summer league and she said her uncle wants to play. It turns out to be Rosaire Paiement. I even got to score off of a pass I got from him. I have also skated around witn a couple of the players from the Panthers at different times. But Really only truly played a season. with Rosaire
