Have you found my marbles?
I lost them yesterday and haven't found them yet...was talking to my husband from my car on my cell phone...started getting my things together to go back into work and ....I couldn't find my phone!! Husband said what are you doing? I said jeesh I can't find my phone..He said Ha Ha look in your hand!!! Then this morning went to get my first cup of coffee...the pot looked a bit low for a fresh pot..figured I didn't put enough water in it so added more. Trotted into the office to play on the computer and....there were 2 cups of hot coffee sitting in front of me!!! If you find my marbles please let me know where they are...I really need them.

I reckon you pinched mine!!! At least you have a cell phone!!! My husband bought me my very first one for my birthday just before Christmas. Ater reading the instructions, I placed it in it's brand new box, whilst I answered the home phone. I heard a plop, but thought nothing of it, and was telling my daughter on the phone all about my new cell phone, and all the funky things it does. After finishing on the phone with my daughter, I realised my new cell phone was submerged in a bowl of hot soapy water, I had been using to clean my house ready for Christmas. I spent all afternoon trying to dry it out with my hairdryer, to no avail, it was well and truly knackered.
My hubby came home from work, and I asked him to set it up for me, but he just couldn't get any response from it. Of course I knew why, but didn't have the guts to admit what I had done, so poor hubby traipsed back to the shop he bought the phone from, and endured accusations of sabotage, which of course he denied, and after half an hour of arguing with the shop staff, they finally relented, and replaced the damaged phone. He still has no idea I wrecked the phone, and I aint gonna tell him, as 3 days later, I left my new, new phone on a seat in the shopping mall, so am back to square one, phoneless!!! Bloomin' marble less!!!!

I'm going with Douglas on this one. It sounds a bit stressed out. Twice you went to a computer to play, but did you sit still enough, long enough to enjoy the coffee? Sometimes I have to just slow myself down because I kick my marbles all over the place running fast and getting not much done.
But then again, I learned that, if thawed carefully, freezing the cell phone in the freezer doesn't seem to hurt it much,
Same for car keys.

Little post Holiday stress there? I find that when I do such things it is because of stress. Although there is that all looming fear that I am aging and it is another senior moment I am having.
I will keep looking for those marbles though and let you know if anything comes up. That is if I can remember where the computer is. Oh, right in front of me.lol

I have not found your marbles. However you can share mine. It is a big clear shooter. I did find a couple of screws in the floor at work yesterday. I guess they were really loose.

I've been looking for my marbles for nearly 50 years and still haven't found them. If I find yours, I may have to borrow them. In the meantime, can't we just let your husband keep track of everything for us?

One good thing, you haven't lost your marbles. You have too much on your plate. I love the phone bit. That one is great.
You and hubby need a mini vacation away from it all. But I suggest you leave the cell phones behind.

I FOUND THEM! They were right next to my brain. I left my brain on the floor by my bed and when I woke up I couldn't find it. But, I stepped on your marbles, tripped on the edge of the bed and those corner protector things managed to bloody the heel of my left foot and then I fell backwards onto the bed and thence to the floor, low and behold there was my brain too.
Have a great Day!!!

They're sitting here on the book shelf in a blue Mason jar, collecting dust. At least they haven't rolled away.
