Can you figure out help me solve this?

On the town’s first New Year's Eve, some of the citizens planted a pine tree in the nearby woods to commemorate the first New Year's celebration. The tree was just a sapling; the trunk was cone-shaped, and its circumference at the base was 14 cm and its height was 124 cm. Every year since then, its height has increased 45% over the previous year, and its circumference has increased 22%.

They are now entering their 10th year in their current location. If the density of the wood is 530 kilogrammes per cubic metre, how many kilogrammes did the tree's trunk weigh this past New Year's Eve? Please round to the nearest whole number.

    Answer : 226575 Kgs.

    Compound interest is A=P(1+R)^n

    n = number of years

    P= principal

    A= value after n years

    Circumference at the time would be = .14(1.22)^10

    C=2 Pi r, therefore r (radius) = {.14(1.22)^10}/2 Pi

    Same for height.

    Volume is Pi * r^2 * h

    Which will give you the answer.

    if the height at 1st yr is h, it'll be 1.45h in the next, and

    h(n)=h*(1.45)^(n-1) in the nth yr.

    similarly the circumference will be

    p(n)= p*(1.22)^(n-1) for p is initial circumference.

    get the radius r(n)=p(n)/2π

    the volume for cone, V(n)=(1/3)πh{r(n)}^2

    and mass, m(n)=V(n)*ρ
