Turn your key in the Aux position then slowly press on the gas pedal to the floor 3 times and that should reset it if not double check your owners manual or look it up on line. I have a 2004 Grand Am and that is how I have to reset it cuz most oil change places don't know how

I can't remember exact years for when what was used to reset the light, it was either Fejj's way, or on the drivers side of the dash board on the end (the door has to be open), there is a cover covering the fuse panel, pull the fuse door off, it may take a little bit of effort, but it wont brake. In the top half of it, near the middle, there is a red button that says "RESET". With the key turned on to the last position before the vehicle starts, push and hold the button until the light on the dashboard flashes (approx 10 seconds), then push it again. It may take a few times to turn the light of using either way, as these reset lights can be picky sometimes.

You don't have to press the gas pedal. If you get lost just check the owners manual.

There's a fuse box on the side of the dashboard on the driver side of the car. Open your door and you'll see it.

Open the fuse box compartment door.

There's a RED button that says "RESET."

    Turn your key to AUX.

Press the RESET button once and release it. The oil change light should start blinking.

Press and hold it once more, and it should turn off.

Once again no gas pedal is needed and if you get confused check the index of your owners manual "oil life system" or "oil change light."

I agree with the gas pedal answer....

My Chevrolet you have to turn the key to run position then hit the gas to the floor 3 times in 5 seconds then turn the key off..

Yours might be a little different so check you manual and see if you can find a totally accurate answer there..
