Has anyone every heard the name Rogan/Brogan?

I really like the name Brogan or Rogan for my baby boy I'm expecting in March. I've never heard of anyone with that name and didn't know if anyone knew of someone with that name? Which of those do you like the best?

Thanks for you help

    I love Brogan!!!

In fact i love most irish names.... dont know why, have no irish in me! From England...

My favourite is Brody.... I cant use it though.... Getting married in April and my surname will become Bent :o(

Fiance hates the alliteration... Brody Bent..... BB

So all B names are out for me... and as someone already said they do make very strong masculine names when starting with a B.

I dont like Rogan... It sounds too close to Rogue.

And i do feel like i should be saying Josh after it too! Like the curry! Dont use Josh as a middle name with Brogan either!!

Good luck in your hunt for the perfect name :o)

I don't know anyone with those names, but I know the kindergarten teachers will know zillions of them in a few years. If I had a gun to my head, I would choose Rogan. Brogan is a style of sturdy tie-up work-shoes.

Rogan? As in Rogan Josh? It's a curry!

Don't like Rogan or Brogan. Yeuch.

    there's always Rowan/ Rohan, I suppose.

What's wrong with Ralph (pron. Rafe) or Asa or Seth?

Brogan, any boys name that starts with a B is instantly stronger sounding

Only as last names. You might set him up for playmate's nicknames of Rogaine or broken. Just because some names have been used a lot does not make them bad.
