midland 4001 amp draw?
i have a 1979, midland 4001, im mounting it with a 5a fuse, should i increase that? its on 12ga wire, and i think it only puts out 2-3watts, so i shouldnt have a problem should i?
its the original midland 4001, not a retro remake, the original

5 amps for 3 watts is probably actually more then enough but so is 12 gauge wire. I can't suggest you use a fuse higher then what was originally rated for the system.
