Has Ron Paul's Constitutional Campaign swayed you?

The Constitution is a contract between The People and Sovereign Individuals. Ron Paul intends to put gov't back on track by enforcing the wording of that contract and not having lawyers determine the meaning of the word "is". Has his position drawn you to his campaign or put you off?

    Drawn me in.

Ktrb, yes he has, you can find out his plan for Government on his website, there is a Ron Paul library where you can read many of his statements on in the House. It is hard to get a message out with limited media exposure but the info is there for those who would care to look.

He wants to eliminate taxes on Social Security benefits, Tips, Gasoline,. He wants to give all teachers a $3000 Tax Credit.

He wants to stop giving Social Security benefits to Non Citizens.

If even one of these ideas seems like a good idea check out

The Family Education Freedom Act, The Senior Tax Elimination Act, The Teacher Tax Cut Act, The Tax Free Tip Act, Social Security For Americans Only Act. For a more detailed look at the bills he has introduced in the House.

    Google Ron Paul

He wants to repeal the patriot act. A position you will not find on any frontrunning Dem website.

I would not mind if Ron Paul got in. He's the only republican Candidate that I can say that to. I guess you could say it has swayed me but then again even though I am a Democrat I will cross party lines to vote for whoever I think is best for America because I'm more loyal to my country than my party. I think that the Constitution should be enforced more just as the founding fathers had intended. We need a president who will not be trying pick it apart and find loopholes in it.

Yes & I am floored there is a person with the concern and courage to buck the oil magnates, big bankers and the Military Industrial complex.

What I don't understand is that on polls the majority of people want us to end the war but with the media being controlled by the club or the 'Beast', production and killing will continue on as long as they can snub certain candidates.

His stance on the Constitution is very similar to my own. I used to think I was one of about 50 people in the US who felt the Constitution should be respected. I'm glad to see I was wrong. Hopefully his unexpected support in this election will persuade more constitutionalists to run for congress, as well as state and local offices nationwide. I think what he's trying to do is similar to a reboot on your computer. Let's set the taxing and spending back at zero, and figure out what we really need. Our important needs will be realized immediately and we can reach a consensus on how to go about satisfying them without recreating the huge government beaurocracy that we currently serve. It's supposed to serve us, but it doesn't usually work that way.

What has drawn me to his campaign is the fact that Fox News blacklisted him from the debate. Whatever Fox News is worried about can only be good news for the American people.

Ron Paul is an idiot and his campaign has confirmed my original opinion of him. He is not a republican and even the libertarians have denounced him. The man is a liar and he does not know the meaning of the constitution.

No, because I don't believe he actually has a plan to lead the country. He keeps saying he wants to go back to the Constitution but he's given no concrete details on what he actually means by that. He's given out absolutely zero practical information on what he will do, other than mouthing platitudes about "individual freedom" and "states' rights." He's all hat, no cattle.
