What are some bad points of the Honda shadow aero 750?

only bad point i could see when riding 1 was....handle bars were a bit too low for long legged riders. experienced riders can easily make a full fork lock turn in a parking lot. but having the bars bang into the knees while doing so throws ur balance off a bit when it's unexpected. u'll know the bars are too low if: when sitting on the bike in typical riding position with foot on the peg, turn the bars full left or right with the hands on the grips like normal.....if ur hands bang ur knees, the bars are a bit too low.

The Honda Shadow 750 Aero/Spirit/Phantom are some of the best bikes you can buy for the money. They have unrelenting dependability. I own three bikes. A 97 CBR11XX Super Blackbird, a 2014 Yamaha FZ-09 and the 2012 Shadow Aero. Of the three bikes I own that is the only one that I can go out and start any time of year and ride and I need to do nothing besides twist the throttle and shift gears. The other bikes are fun and I love them just as much for their own reasons but the one bike I would never part with is that little Shadow it is definitely a favorite.

OK about the only negative I can give you because both models of the 750 Shadow are good.. is that you need mag wheels With tubeless tires for more safety. A tube type tire used in a wire spoke wheel can blow out suddenly.. Bad at 70 mph.. A tubeless tire will almost always go down slowly and give you warning.. and you can just put a plug in a tubeless and air it up to get home.

I have a Honda Shadow Sabre. A friend has the aero. The only bad thing I can think of is the number of them on the road. Everyone has one. If you want to be different, you'll have to customize it a good bit.

I know he shaft drive is great mostly, but I thought it used up a little too much power. I had a 360 Yamaha that I seem to remember having about the same acceleration off the line.

I don t have one yet! Still on my HondaCX500, but ready soon.

todays labor rate is very high, any car u buy , i would ask service writer about the cost of the scheduled maintenance and other repairs u think u might need at a later date like timing belt water pump etc. good luck
