Will Tim Tebow win the Heisman back to back?

If he plays like he did this past season, how can he not win it, right? But there's only one ball and there might be too many QB's next year in Gainesville for Tebow to get the #'s he got last season. I think next year Meyer will implement Newton a lot more, like he did when Leak was the starter and brought in Tebow on 3rd,4th and short and goal line situations. Also, the have a JC Transfer, Waggener, who is 6'6" 240. So he might also get some playing time, too. And let's not forget about this Brantley kid that we've heard about all last season, will he get playing time next year, too?

There are several players that will rack up BIG #'s next year and with quarterbacks galore in Gainesville, it will almost be a certainty that we will have a new Heisman for the 2008 season.

Here's my list:

Michael Crabtree - Texas Tech

Graham Harrell - Texas Tech

Chris Wells - Ohio State

Knowshon Moreno - Georgia

Sam Bradford - Oklahoma

Kevin Smith - UCF

Who are your predictions for 08 Heisman?

Update:

I forgot about Pat White!

Update 2:

What's up Flacid!

Yes, long time...

How have you been, man?

Did you have a good Christmas and New Year's?

As you know, I'm a big Tebow fan(not a Gator fan...haha), but I just don't see how you can have the same #'s next year. There are way too many QB's wanting playing time and I think Meyer will use all that talent to his advantage!

On another note...I went down to Orlando to watch the Under Armour All American Game in Orlando...man the talent was unbelievable! E.J. Manuel!! I can't wait until Weatherford gets lyme disease or something.... :)

Talk to ya later, man

i think you are right on about the Qb situation in g-ville

i personally hope Tebow does not have to run the ball so much next year, maybe pery harvin can win it

but i like your list it looks pretty close to how it may shake out

kevin smith has declared for the draft is the story i am hearing around here

Ashley R., you are so wrong, Tebow is the Real thing, Trust me

Lol, question have been given your interest huh UF walk 07. you're making some very valid factors. before everything there have been 3 or 4 Heisman Trophy winners from a three-loss team so that's no longer breaking new territory. the reality that a sophomore has no longer won the Heisman then nicely possibly it's time to interrupt that new floor. I advise fifty one touchdowns is annoying for me to think of. additionally, throw interior the reality that Tebow performed harm in 2 of those losses yet nevertheless had a minimum of three touchdowns in each and every game is yet another wonderful stat. without Tebow this 12 months Florida might have long previous nowhere. He carried the team and don't overlook that Florida probably has the youngest team between the remarkable 50 colleges. So in case you do no longer think of various him this 12 months in basic terms wait till next season rolls around. Tebow is deserving of the award palms down and not in user-friendly terms because of the fact i'm an SEC fan. His stats are wonderful to assert the least. quite once you communicate that opposing defenses knew with a view to conquer Florida all they had to do replace into quit Tebow. much less annoying suggested than performed.

I look for Meyer to change up the offense a bit because Tebow took a beating this year. Therefore, Tebow is not going to have the unbelievable stats again. I look for Moreno out of Georgia to be the top candidate for the Heisman.

Tebow did have a monster season. If Pat White and Steve Slaton come back and produce like they have been doing, they should give Tebow a run.

Sam Bradford will win the Heisman next year if teammate DeMarco Murray doesn't take too many of his votes.

It is impossible to say at this point...he will be a favorite because he won last year...but how a player does next year week to week will determine your winner...Tebow did not look Heisman - like vs. Michigan

Kevin Smith has declared for the draft so you can scratch him off. I say Chris Wells would be a good pick. He is what Maurice Clarett would have been if he'd stayed out of trouble.

NO! Florida will actually have a decent running back next year (transfer from USC). This will cause Tebows rushing numbers to slide.

Pat White or Moreno if he has enough playing time with King.

If Florida plays good next season, I don't see why Tim doesn't win again.
