Bad U-joint, bad axle bearing, no gear lube in the axle, bad rear driveshaft carrier (midship) bearing, bad front bearings, manual transmission low on fluid, transfer case low on fluid, broken cord in tire, want me to keep going?

Something needs to be lubed most likely. But what do you mean by low roaring noise? Is it coming from the engine compartment or somewhere else? And also, what do you mean by "as if the tires were low"? Is the pickup handling differently or is the acceleration sluggish? That could help me narrow down the problem. Good luck.

I think it may be some of the above but the first thing that came to mind was pinion bearing.Low roaring noise is deffinately the symptom,of pinion bearing.
