Does anyone here still support the war?
I support our men and women over seas, don't get me wrong; heck, I wanna join the Navy right after high school. I'm just wondering if there's anyone here who still supports the war on terror.

You Bet!
Don't know about you, but I'd rather keep them busy over there, rather than have them come here!!!!

The war on terror yes. But when "we" start to police other countries like we did with Korea its a waste of time and young lifes. I support the men and women not the "action". We were suppose to be going over there for WMD which we never found. Where is the terror? All of the men in the planes on 9/11 came from another country which we are not fighting because they have even more oil!!! Duh! Its all about the oil. Not the terror.

Yes very much so. If we don't fight them there, then they will come here and it is best to confront them on their ground than ours.
This is a different world and a different kind of war than it has ever been in the past and I think treading on new ground is always risky but we cannot let ourselves be sitting ducks and after 9/11 we knew we were.
We have to be pro-active, both the US and Israel.

"We must all hang together or most assuredly we shall all hang separately...." Benjamin Franklin
This isn't Mister Bush's war, we all own this war and if you don't like it then you are responsible to do something about it. Talk is extremely cheap, you either be part of the solution or you are in fact part of the problem!
I support our troops in total and the war in total, get with the program and help us win. Help the Iraqi people, stop bashing the President and be an American!!!

Yes, Iraq, was a breading ground for Terrorists, Hussein was an Al Quida sympathizer, and there are many more fronts to come, that's why we must elect a strong Pres. and the American people must be willing to endure the hardships still to come, the war on terror is a long term situation, our enemies are hoping that they can simply out last the American peoples will to fight, they are looking 100 years down the road!!!

YES I DO!
As others have said, I'd rather be fighting them on their soil rather than here.
Image what life here would be like with 9/11 everyday!

Retired Army, I've been to Iraq three times. I supported the war so my children or grandchildren don't have to go there and finish the job.
Regardless, the people who cry oil or false intelligence are wrong when it comes to who truly perpetuated going into Iraq.

Hell ya. We need to be there, as the "tired" old line has said, until the job is done. That job is to ensure that the Iraqi government and military is stable enough that they can deal with the crap (insurgents) that is running amok there.
As of now, we are doing a great job of completing that mission.

The war is a fraud, sacrificing the blood of our young men and women to line the pockets of Bush, Cheney, & Co.
But then, this is what all war is about, from the beginning of time - human sacrifice to enrich those who wage it.
Judging by the idiot posting immediately before me (Saddam Hussein had NOTHING to do with Al Qaeda, he was stridently opposed to the Islamic fundamentalists, and Al Qaeda did not exist until the CIA created it), the war will drag on for a long time, since stupid people believe in stupid things.
And by the way, I am not a Democrat - the Democrats supported the war because they are paid by the same people who pay off the Republicans.
I find it interesting that almost no one responding to this question can make the distinction between supporting the *troops*, the men and women who are sacrificed for our so-called "leaders'" gain, and supporting the *war*, the ill-conceived grab for money and power in a place we should do well to stay out of.
More idiots posting - war is like football? So you're saying war is just a GAME? Moron.
