My father had a cancer removed from his nose in 1981. He lived until 2005. He did not die of cancer.
If the cancer is treated early the chances of recovery are higher than if treated later. If you have cancer ... your doctor with give you the percentages.

No cancer is curable. Cancer takes over cells and cause uncontrollable mitosis (splitting of the cells). This causes it to spread fast. If the cancer is caught early and proper treatment is followed, with todays technology, the chances of recovery are good. If it is not caught early and the cancer has spread, it could mean more treatment and possible death. There is no way to say whether there will be a full recovery. Depending on doctors advice, they might have to remove tissue, the cancer might spread, and it could be fatal. If the cancer is removed and goes into remission, there is still a chance that it could return. Nothing is guarenteed with cancer. I'm sorry. Hope all goes well.

is it a melanoma that you have on your nose? if so yes, they cut it off, but make sure to do it as soon as possible cause it does spread, and that could be fatal.
