I know this may sound like a weird question, but it seems to me that people today are making false racist accusations. Some examples would be calling someone racist for not voting for Barack Obama even though it might be because that person doesn't agree with his views. Or not recognizing racism when it involves a flipped situation? My opinion is that anyone is capable of being racist if that person judges someone solely based on his ethnicity. Whether that person is black, white, asian, hispanic, indian, and so on. So, what exactly in your opinion, is racism?

So, my dog had puppies a week ago. My dog is on advantix and for some reason, the puppies have fleas. I know all flea products are not for puppies 6 weeks or younger. I called my vet and they advised me that the only thing I can do for right now is to give them a bath. So, is there anything else I can do? Does anyone have any secret remedies? I don't want my puppies to have fleas. Would you give them a bath at this age and if so, what type of soap would you use??? All answers appreciated.

I have dry skin and when I wash with soap, it makes my skin even drier! I have tried both Dove and Caress bar soaps which are both supposably moisturizing bars. Does anyone have any suggestions of another brand that won't dry out my skin???

I had read somewhere (not sure where) that you should not consume more than something like 7 grams of saturated fat in a day. However, when I look for anything else that might confirm this, I find that you should not consume more than 10 percent of your daily calories in fat. If on the label it is labeled as grams, how do you figure out what the calorie intake of saturated fat is? Let's also take into account that there is no trans-fat either.

So, here is the deal. This newer girl at my work today smelled really bad! It wasn't like body odor or anything, it smelled like vomit and spoiled milk. One girl, who had no idea it was her who smelled so horrible, went around trying to figure out where the smell was coming from, before someone informed her it was this particular girl and this smelly girl could not smell it herself. A few girls said that she smelled the same way the day before. So, everyone at work was talking about her behind her back and we think she had even overheard some of the girls talking about her. I felt really bad about it and didn't want to talk behind her back and really wanted to tell her that it wasn't that we disliked her, but that she smelled rancid! Thing is, I had no idea what to say or how to tell someone that they stunk! So, if this had happened to you, what would you tell them to minimize any hurt feelings?

I know that might sound like a weird question, but I want to move to Alaska and I want horses. So, do people have horses in Alaska or is it too cold?

Okay, so here is my dilemma. We rescued some feral kittens and one of them was really sick. I got rid of the fleas and wormed him, but he was still skinny and not growing. I took him to the vet today and found out he had FLV. I had to put him to sleep. I am very distraught about this as it is and come to find out, it's very contagous. So, my two eldest cats have already been exposed (although vaccinated) but we are keeping 2 of his sisters who have also been exposed. So, in your opinion, if the sisters test positive for FLV, but are normal and healthy, would you still opt to put them to sleep? It's not about exposure anymore. I've read that the 70% of cats develop an immunity to it and still lead normal lives and some may never have any complications with the disease. Would you wait until there were any complications before putting it to sleep so it could at least have somewhat of a normal life or would you do it as soon as the positive test occured?

I keep having a recurring dream. It's not every night or anything, but this is usually how it goes. There is usually tornados. First there is only one. But as the dream goes on, in the distance there is usually 5 or 6 tornados. I haven't been watching anything on t.v. involving tornados. The storyline is usually different, but always full of tornados. I would appreciate some intelligent answers from people that might know a bit about decifering dreams. They are torturing me! I might add that I am deathly afraid of tornados. However, it didn't start until I moved to Louisiana and found out we get tornados here, but not very often and usually not big ones. I'm from Ca where tornados are non-existant. Please help!
