I believe that most people do not do any of their own research into the candidates.

Obama has been a Marxist since he was a teen, mentored by "Uncle" Frank Marshall Davis and Obama has never stopped believing it is the way.

Obama was an active, registered member of both the Communist and Socialist parties when he was a resident of Hawaii and Illinois.

The church Obama associated with for over 20 years is a self-acclaimed bastion of Black Liberation Theology (BLT). (See link below)

BLT is simply Marxism dressed up to *look* like Christianity. They take a few passages from the bible and twist them to their own political agenda and they study those few passages. BLT is an offshoot of Liberation Theology, which was created about 50 years ago in South America. It was Che Guevara’s (a Marxist leader) way of mobilizing the Christian society to his movement.

Che Guevara and Luis Farrakhan (also a Marxist) are heroes of Barack Obama’s. Obama had a flag of Che Guevara up in his campaign office and Obama was instrumental in having Luis Farrakhan be given the highest honor his church would ever bestow upon an individual. This happened just last year.

About Marxism. I suggest you look it up. It looks good on paper. The main tenet goes something like this, "from each according to their ability and to each according to their need."

The thing is, when goods and services are handed out to people, those who have the most ability no longer rise to produce their best. And those who have little ability decide not to contribute at all! Communist societies continue to fail.

Look up Marxism, Che Guevara, and Luis Farrakhan and see if you want someone who is their true believer to be your leader.

I have struggled to build up my small business, never taking much more than the folks working with me. Now as I am getting a little older and wiser I want to cash in a little bit, but why put in 16 hour days just to see a big chunk of it go to the government.

GWB has turned out to be a big disappointment on this issue. I fear that BHO will pick up right where GWB is leaving off. First the banks, then the auto makers, the airlines, the oil companies.

We all know that Big Government does not do a good job of managing things.

I also blame the corrupt bankers and brokers who took a short profit at the expense of our freedom.

Drinking the kool aid refers to a religious fanatic who was trying to start their own country outside of the mainland of the US. Nothing like Palin up in AK with her husband's wack job party.

As for being socialist, we have a long way to go before we get there unless you consider Japan socialist and most of Europe.

In Germany, most people get five weeks of paid vacation a year and free health care and college.

We've been living in a bubble in the US about what is important. We are more concerned about getting a new car every other year than having money to retire on.

I have lived in half a dozen countries and I seen the good and bad of socialism. It is ridiculous that it is cheaper for me to travel to another country to get dental work done than to have it in the US. Dentists abroad are subsidized by the government and do not end up paying half of their income on taxes and insurance. You know what costs us in Medical? Taxes and liability insurance. After expenses, the doctors make about 1/4 of what we pay.

I'm about to travel again to get a root canal done by an American trained dentist. The cost? $100 including exam and follow up plus maybe another $100 for a crown. My tooth would of never gotten so bad if I could of afforded dental insurance here. I can stay for a week on the beach in a nice hotel and it will still be cheaper than getting it done here even after air fare.
