why would I be asked to come back for a second interview when you have no openings????
so I go to red robin for an application and fill it out. Meet with a manager and told to come back for a second interview. obviously he liked me in he fact of a good impression and experience in the food industry. Now, i dress to impress and look damn fine when I go meet with PHILLIP when hes not even there. I meet with some guy named jeremiah. he leaves me sitting at a booth for over ten minutes shuffing through papers trying to find my application. comes back. asks me what im going to school for. I tell him then he proceeds to tell me that there are no opening availailable at this time. are you ******* kidding me. what assbag goes and shuffles through papers and leaves a potential candidate waiting for over ten minutes thinking there are positions open when you know damn well that what it is. there is no way im not qualified for the job cause I have over 2 years of experience in serving. you either ******* tell me you dont want me to work there or you really dont have any openings

You're complaining about ten minutes? You take more time than that sitting on the can reading a magazine... get OVER it.
It sounds like there was a mixup in communications. Call Phillip back and tell him what happened. Leave out the part about the ten minutes and the shuffling papers though, or you'll sound like a Complain Jane. Simply tell him that someone else met you and seemed like they were unfamiliar with things, and you'd like to meet with Phillip again.
From the tone of your question, I wouldn't hire you. You're a whining little hothead with a potty mouth who freaks out at the drop of a hat.
Source(s): It took two months and countless emails and phone calls to get the job I have now. It doubled my income though and now I have a state government job with great benefits and retirement... so it was TOTALLY worth it. It was stressful at the time, but I was determined. O stop your crying, got over it, and get a life. I wasted much much more time on something far worse.
To your surprise, the person that setup the appointment probably had something else to do today. So pull yourself together, and on Monday, call the person that setup the appointment and talk to the person. It's not the end of the world. So, don't get your panties all in a bunch....
What do you think I go through being an Airline Pilot, going for interviews. Before I got my first Pilot job, I went threw a lot landing my first job.

I think that instead of flying off the handle, you should try to get in touch with the person you had the appointment with originally and ask them what's going on. This other person obviously didn't know what was going on and wasn't prepared for you since he wasn't the one scheduled to meet with you. It may surprise you, but he may have actually had other things to do that day besides sit and talk to someone he didn't know about a situation he had no knowledge of! Just quit whining and call the first guy and see if maybe there was some misunderstanding or something, gee!

Am sure he is not the right person who knows if there is a vacancy or not, i am convinced he turned a good candidate and will realize and don't be surprised you may be called back as long as the manager is impressed with you.

he could have had any number of reasons for calling you back. It's my impression though that he was just try to find something easy for him to do to make it look to his boss that he was "working"( trying to hold on to his own job). There is something out there for you. There is a job out there who's boss will appreciate you. Keep trying, and don't let"rejections" get you down.

I just went through two rounds of interviews that lasted a total of 8.5 hours. I got a call three weeks after my second interview to tell me that they decided not to hire anyone right now. WTF!!

they may have a opening in the near future & want to keep you in mind for it. though it would have been nice to say so up front.

that's what they all say as a rejection. perhaps something you did or said pissed jerm off and he decided he didn't like you. that's all.
