    It should have gone already!

You are now an oldie ya know. But what the heck!! At 45 and over I still danced the night away, even if people were rolling on the floor laughing, and I do karaoke, it brings a tear to their eyes. Whats more I got married when I was 50 to my toy boy whos a year younger.

Think rationally are you past it today no well why would 24 hours make you over the top?

If you think and act young you will stay young, the moment you stop doing things because of your age you become old.

I have a friend who goes to Karaoke 2-3 times a week has a good voice dances all night to everyone else's singing she is 72 years young, think about it

Tell that to Rita Moreno who is still hoofing it in her 70s. Alicia Alozo, Martha Graham and Kathernine Dunham danced well into old age. So did Ann Miller and Ginger Rogers. Even the old-time burlesque dancer Tempest Storm "took it off" when she was a septuagenarian.

There are THOUSANDS of older people who are very involved in Dancesport aka Ballroom Dance...both for fun, and for competition. Back in the 1980s, I knew of a guy in Prince Edward Island, Canada who was still Irish step dancing in his 80s and traveling across North America to various exhibitions...this was BEFORE Riverdance got so popular. I also know personally of a number of women who are over 45 and are involved in Middle Eastern aka Belly Dancing. I'm one of them at nearly 47 years of age :)

45 is not at all "old" for most things you love to do. You're only "past it" if you think you are. If you enjoy dancing, and your doctor says you have no medical issues preventing you from doing so, then KEEP ON DANCIN' and enjoy it! It's good for the heart...and the soul. :)

No! There are plenty of people who can dance after 45, look at Fred Astaire, for example.

    Well Happy Birth day...

Never you will dance in your memories whether your legs move or not. You will dance in your thoughts in between forgetting things. You will dance in your heart... just be-careful there, ya don't need any irregular beats ;)

    Your only half way there!

that depends. do you stay fit? have you kept dancing despite your age? are you still physically healthy? i think you can probably still dance. i mean, there are dance teachers who are older than you and they can dance. keep at it and stay fit.

No! I knew someone who was still going clubbing in his 50s.
