Why do doctors.....?
insist on treating only one pain at a time. Especially orthopedic surgeons. I have been in extreme pain (shoulder, back, knee, feet) and it turns out they are all related but they always ask what is worst and only address the one issue.

Depends on the doctor. I say it has less to do with training and more to do with economics. Focusing on a small part of an individual means less time. Less time with patients means more patients seen daily. More patients seen daily means more $$$.
Combining traditional medical training with a holistic philosophy has helped me help thousands.

Well, with limited information, I would say that if you are having these pains from top to bottom, you must rule out types of auto-immune diseases, like Arthritis.... sometimes doctors need to know where the source is, or it is what is called transfer pain. This is when the pain can come from one place but appears to come from another. Depending on your diagnosis, this would also determine the type of drug or therapy to be used. But yes, some docs are ding dong... and it can be irritating. But usually there is a method to their madness.

That's how they're trained. If you go see alternative practitioners, they will treat everything at once. They understand the relationship (in my opinion) better and will take the time to help you. If you are having all four of those, I'd personally see a chiropractor, but that's me.
