  • Business peer request letter?

Last year the peer request forms were prewritten and this year I need to write out a request myself. I am drawing a blank. I am looking for some examples of a letter/email asking a coworker for peer feedback. I want something professional and not too specific as there is a specific form that they fill out for different categories.

  • Access character that realtes to everything in a field?

In excel if I do a sumifs or countifs I can enter a * in one row as a criteria and it will not look for that character but considers everything a match, the next row will have a value and it will sum or count only matches. Is there anything like that I can enter into an access table. I have a table with fields named process, function, size and job Action. I have about 100 process, size and job action combinations that need to pull in all functions. Entering each function would literally add 100s of records to my table. Any ideas or workarounds would be appreciated.

  • Ankle arthroscopy recovery experience?

Please describe your recovery experience following an ankle arthroscopy. Location and length of swelling(toes v. ankle v. leg) as well as location of pain and any trouble in movement. I already had an arthroscopy and was curious as to how closely it compared to others experience. The answer with the most details gets best answer.

  • Post Surgery(Ankle Arthroscopy) Pain?

First I am planning on calling my doctor tuesday morning so please do not include this in your response. I had surgery 5/25 and took pain killers very regularly up through thursday night. I had an apt friday and the doctor said everything looked good. The next day when I sat up and put my foot on the floor I got pain near the one incision but not the other and it went away after a few minutes. The next day the pain lingered a little longer. Now I have an agonising burning pain whenever I do not have my ankle elevated. I have followed the Drs instructions religiously, lots of ice, kept it elevated and rested. Could this indicate an infection, some other complication or is this normal and a result of taking the pain killers sporadically. I am only looking for opinions on cause of the pain not what to do.

Is there a way to determine which queries or tables a report is based off of. The database is Access 2003 but I am viewing it in 2007 and I can't figure out which queries are connected to which reports.

  • How do I prevent others from trying to run my Macro?

Others need to see and copy the data but they don't have access to the source data so they will end up deleting the data that everyone needs rather than updating it. Is there a way to set a password for just the macro?

  • What legal recourse do I have?

I live with my grandmother and unfortunately she has the habit of letting in strays. Human strays. This loser came in and has done nothing but make rude ignorant jokes and actually thinks it is amusing to see my grandmother aggravated. He even takes my stuff if I happen to leave it in a public area. She says to just ignore it and has never been able to tell one of her strays that he has to go. Lately though it has gotten a lot worse. It has pretty much become an open hostility between the two of us and every time he sees me he gets right up in my face or right next to me(way to close for comfort). There is no way I am going to leave and I can't run away every time he enters the room. Is there any law that can protect me from this?

  • Is there an alternative to a MRI?

I have a small screw in my foot (from a surgery) that prevents me from getting an MRI of my ankle. Is there an alternative that could give a Dr a view of any possible damage to the muscles, tendons and ligaments?

  • KJV vs NIV?

I keep hearing that KJV is the best and should be the only one used. What is your opinion and the reasoning behind it? Please give Biblical reference if you have any to support your view.

  • Letter of Interest question?

I am writing a letter of interest for an internal promotion(resumes are not needed) There are several projects I worked that I am mentioning and some improvements I made. Should I write the details of how or just mention I improved quality in a certain area. Considering it is all in house and the recruiter will understand most of what I am saying I am not sure how detailed I should get.

  • Any ideas on a good Bible Study?

I want to do a Bible Study with my sister-in-law but it has to be something kind of short as she is sick a lot and I want to be able to cover two weeks if necassary and something easy to catch up on if she misses a couple days. But I don't want it to be a feel good devotion but rather have a little bit of depth to it. Her husband is over in Iraq, she has had several miscarriages, she is sick and jobless so she has lots of time on her hand but no energy to do anything.

  • Why do doctors.....?

insist on treating only one pain at a time. Especially orthopedic surgeons. I have been in extreme pain (shoulder, back, knee, feet) and it turns out they are all related but they always ask what is worst and only address the one issue.

  • Extreme pain?

I have been having a lot of pain in my back. I have lower back pain on the right side and pain in my upper back between my shoulder blades on both sides of my spine but distinct. The left side cracks if a stretch to the right and I get a sharp pain. The pain on the right is sharp and hurts when I take a deep breath and when the pain doesn't ease it starts going down my right arm. I have also been having pain in my left knee and the inside(medial) of both ankles as well as my left shoulder. About 2 years ago I fell down the stairs and jammed my shoulder but I don't know if it is related to that or my back pain. Any ideas on what I am dealing with?
