Which major?

I love teaching but I don't want to work at a school. I really working in the training department at my job and am working my way up but I will only be able to go so high without a degree. What would be a good major to supplement my career.

Update:

Please, please, pleeeeease just answer the question and don't tell me to change my plans. I am doing something I love at a company I love. Thumbs down to any answers that don't answer the actual question.

Update 2:

I am not 'in training' I will be assisting training others.

You could major in adult education - this could land you a job with a company or at a higher ed technical school. Many companies look for qualified individuals who can 'train' adults in many different areas.

a business/ finance/ econs/ psych /sociology/ third language major would be a pretty good basic degree.

(im assuming that by training department, i'm guessing it means you are rather new in the company and that you are in training...?)

It depends on what you want to work in more specifically as you work your way up. If you could tell what your job is or what position you are aiming for later on, it would be a great help.

Basically, if it's a food company, food science or business-related would be great. If it's at a bank, accounting/finance/anything business is good. If you want to do HR in the future, psychology/management/business would be helpful.

Basically, just a BA in anything would help you advance. (this, you already know) If you want, you can also do something in college that you really like (but maybe is not related to your work) and do part time tutoring on weekends/nights relating to what you have your degree in.
