Your best bet is to find a drawing of a bonsai that you really like. Take it to your artist and he or she should be able to work off of that to give you your own custom piece.

Ya, just run several searches for the type of pictures you are looking for or go to the website of a couple of local tattoo artists. But I have never heard of them censoring their own work. After all, it's not like they are photocopying stuff onto your body - it is very dependent on the talent of the artist.
