Would you give up your place in heaven...?

... to save a sinner? Say you're standing at the pearly gates and can see the long line of miserable sinners waiting to go to hell, would you volunteer your place to one of them (If it was possible)?

Update:

Annie (and all) I asked "if it was possible" so please no more answers saying it isn't.

I would as it happens, I would see nobody suffer if I could do something to prevent it.

And who says Christianity isn't selfish?

As an agnostic humanist, I think that serving each other is the only real way to serve God if you believe in Him.

If you can show consideration for someone else before yourself, it shows character which is truly divine. How could a merciful God send you to Hell for being so full of love that you would give up Heaven for Hell just to help someone else?

If I believed in a Heaven and really believed that people would go to a place like Hell, I would do everything I could to stop it.

but I don't believe it, so I do everything I can to get people to stop wasting their life by spending it preparing for death.

No Way! Nothing is worth trading Heaven for. God is doing everything that can be done to save sinners that can be done. Nobody goes to hell unless they have made poor choices. God will take care so that everyone has a chance.

Why--- all sinners will eventually be saved later on after they each pay every red cent for their own sins in Hell. Repentant believers dont have to suffer in Hell cause Christ did that for us on the cross.

no because sometimes you have to go through hell on earth just to get there, so rightfully it's gods wishes to let you walk through the pearly gates and live in the light

No, I wouldn't. I don't think anyone deserves to be tortured for eternity (with the possible exception of Bill Gates), but I certainly wouldn't forfeit my eternity for someone else.

if heaven was real and If it was someone I really loved then yeah, I'd do it. (RE: the christians who said they wouldnt, for shame! You're meant to be nice people.)

If it was just some random guy, then no. But then I doubt I'm going to heaven,

No, I earned my spot, and tried to save sinners, but they don't want to believe, but, I will keep praying for them till that day comes, so they will not have to be at the gates of hell.
