You mean Spirulena. My Mom used it about 10 years ago. She told me it's the world's most perfect food. She can't remember why she stopped, which is no help to you! (Read my Edit below.)
Google Spirulena. There's so much info, you have to read it yourself.
I hope you find what you're looking for.
EDIT: I called My Mom. She remembered the reason she stopped taking spirulena is that it was so salty it gave her high blood pressure. So beware of that. :)

I think you mean Spirulina and it's sold under the name of Spiru-Tein at http://www.drugstore.com/ in three flavors: Vanilla, Chocolate & Strawberry. It's touted as a the only Spirulina made with non-genetically modified soy beans and is sold as a high protien energy meal. It's the most expensive of the lot of them and it only yields 16 servings for $33.25. Sale price there is $25.99.
I bought it once and sent it back to the vendor. It was awaful tasting and I couldn't get it down. My Doc finally told me that for my needs, I might just as well buy Carnation Instant Breakfast and drink that instead. I don't eat properly most of the time and had been losing weight at that time also. It worked very nicely for me and I still drink it because the flavors can't be beat, in my book anyway!

It's likely that you're eating too fast. Try holding a conversation while using a meal so you're definitely not gulping down more than it is advisable to feel full.

Beware of "fat-free" or "zero trans fats" foods as you may be trading fats for huge numbers of sugar or sodium.

Check out this website. I am not a multi-level salesperson. I am a smart consumer who does her research on supplements. This particular MD I have a lot of respect for.
