My current one is a single long spout. On one side there's a sprayer and on the other side there's the temp adjustment handle. These three componants don't share a fixture base. I think this means I have three holes at the top of my sink. Am I stuck with always having this kind of faucet set? What do I use to cover up the holes?

I know it sounds stupid- who cares about hubcaps. But the replacements were very expensive.

A spark came from the cord of a laptop charger. Upon inspection there was an area of exposed wire on the cord. My husband wrapped the area with black electric tape and plugged it right back into the wall. He insists all is well with the cord. I am inclined to throw it away. Should I?

What made the meat marinade turn blue?

I heated up some salad dressing with the following ingredients:

water, high fructose corn syrup, rice wine, red wine, balsamic, olive oil, soybean oil, salt, garlic, xanthan gum, sodium benzoate, sorbic acid, caldium disodium EDTA, orange peel

I added fresh pressed garlic, then added beef.

Then the garlic in the mixture turned light blue! What chemical reaction occured here? The meat was fresh, not rancid or smelly.

We took down the ceiling light fixture in the bathroom and currently have no replacement. I am concerned about moisture from the shower getting to the wires.

Is there a scam out there that gets somebody's identity by sending the victim a fake check (not a money order check) for them to deposit and then the scammer gets the victim's identity somehow by the victim cashing it?

I am worried about my friend possibly killing herself. She denies having a plan and she says that she would never do it, but she talks about suicide and frequently has moments where she thinks about it. She's in a very bad time in her life where she can't pay her bills and nobody to support her financially, has a 12 month lease which will ruin her credit if she doesn't pay it, about to be forced to live with her parents who she doesn't like that much, has a cat to take care of, and lots of c.c. debt and has recently lost her professional license. She's lonely and truly hates her life right now and I don't blame her. Who am I to insist that suicide would be so terrible?

I'll call the police on her if I have to and drive her to the hospital, but the situation is hers and it's her life that only she can live...

I have $1000 to spend, including tax. I will build it myself and I want an AMD. I will use the computer for email, pictures, music, watching movies, and general internet use. I'm not into gaming and I want wireless internet on it. I also want a nice big monitor that won't hurt my eyes.

Which componants should I get??? Be specific please, as I have never build a computer before. I also have somebody helping me who has some experience building computers.

Not just the usual soreness. Definitely warm and uncomfortable. Is there a physiological explanation for the warm feeling? Has anybody else experienced this?
