He should win (he is the better candidate) but it is undoubtedly a upward battle for him. Things are stacked in Hillary's favor in the Democratic primaries.

The Democratic Party gives delegates in all the states proportionately (meaning it is not a winner take all like Republicans have but delegates awarded by how much % of the vote a candidate gets in each state...note: with a 15% threshold to receive any at all- for fans of other candidates). They also have a heavy stack of "super delegates" that can vote any way they wish (do not have to vote with what the state votes).

Obama will need a sizable percentage of the popular vote to get the nomination in that much of the "super delegates" currently favor Clinton (although not all of them).

Source(s): I assume thumbs down are for the "(Obama) is the better candidate" in that the rest is simply facts LOL. I suppose I should say further that Obama is a man of integrity and I hope he wins the Dem nomination (his competition, specifically Hillary, is total sleaze). Thumbs away LOL. :) (Also it should be considered anyways....Edwards has a number of delegates...and more coming...that he could possibly throw to Obama should Obama need them in exchange for something Edwards would benefit from...a high level position perhaps....we will have to stay tuned to see what happens).

He is clearly the better leader. But he is black, and I think it will come down to the democratic delegates believing whether the U.S. will elect a black person. First and foremost, they want a Dem to win. So they will support who they think will prevail over the GOP.

That said, I thought that Obama didn't really discuss color, and it was easy to be color-blind in the selection process. But Hillary has been wise to bring everything back to color... because she knows that America is too racist to vote for a black person. So she made the racist comment that while MLK fought for human rights, it took a white person to pass the legislation. She knows that while this is cruel, it strikes a cord with racist America. And she won't alienate the black voters who have supported her husband because that support comes from perceived "connections" and "networking opportunities" that they believe will improve their lot in life.

Please do not critisize me, but I hope that he is not elected. He bears an astounding resemblence to a certain Mayor of Detroit (cough, Coleman Young) who is a great talker and is all nice on the outside, popular with the people, but at the same time making money illegally and sending the city rock bottom.

No. I believe that someone from the republican side should win. Bush was a bad candidate because he was hated by other countries which caused the other countries not to do business with us which in turn, decreases the worth of the American dollar.

America dosen't need a politic anymore. What America needs is a Businessman who other worlds leaders would say, "Hey. I want to sit down and have a beer with that guy" We need someone who's likable.

I believe that Juiliany should win because he actually fits that category.

Or Forbes but I can't count him because he isn't running.

Nope, Obama is too inexperienced - likely he's happy that his book sales are going higher due to his running & getting attention.

The Democrat Party will NEVER allow a black or a hispanic to become President. Ain't gonna happen.

    Yes.

He's the best candidate for getting the White House back from the Republicans.

Hillary is too divisive, too devious and too conniving.
