i was on the depo shot for a year?
but came off it about a month ago. how long before i get my period? ive still not had any sign! when i was going for my shot even if it was a day or 2 late i used to spot. i was worried that i may be pregnant but am not sure if i would be able to catch so soon... i've had a few symptoms, but nothing major...anyone had anything similar happen?

The dreaded invention should not have been invented. A woman's body is supposed to run a menstrual cycle. As a young woman this begins when the body is ready, and then stops later in life again when the human body is ready. Listen girls/women - use condoms and the pill maybe, but be careful.
The whole conception of the injection is to prevent pregnancy but also does prevent the natural cycles (monthly).
Your periods should start to regulate, although may be unsettled for a number of months.
If you think you are pregnant then take a test - if in any doubt then ask your GP to take a test for you.

I was on the depo for a little over a year as well....It's different for everyone...just depends on your body..my cycle never went back to being regular after the depo shot....my ob had to prescribe provera to me to regulate my periods...

ohhh yes. the same thing with me i was on depo for a year and the periods will be irregular for a while. and expect spotting and all that fun stuff.
