Will Julio Jones be a Sooner next year?
Rumors coming out of Gainesville are that in Julio Jones' visit to Gainesville was cut short by Urban Meyer! Julio was escorted around campus by Tim Tebow and Tim told Urban that Julio was trying to get other Gator recruits to play in Oklahoma with HIM next year! Urban found out and sent Julio Jones home!
Has anyone else heard this?
We all know that ex Gator coach Bob Stoops(current Oklahoma head coach) can't stand Urban Meyer and has been reported saying, "Urban Cryer" instead of Meyer. So he might have something to do with this...?

The Seminoles are already in his top 3. I hope Jimbo, Lawrence and Bobby can get him to decide to be a Nole next year. We'll see on Feb. 6th!

That is a funny story.
All I heard was that he was going to visit Oklahoma.
Just seems odd that a kid would waste a trip to Florida just to tell others to come to OU with him...just doesn't seem likely...but anything is possible.
Urban Cryer....and now Big Loss Bob.....
I think Stoops credit for that National Title way back when is used up. Go undefeated this year and win the whole thing...or go home Bob.

Yes actually i heard about this and after doing a little research i found out that this story was total bs and in fact had not happened at all. Julio Jones was not sent home. Also he did not try to get players to go to oklahoma. If you dont believe me read this article

i have heard it but i still thnk he will sign with the Tide .he is friends with quite a few of their recruits and i just really believe he will sign with the Tide.......his mom is a diehard ALA fan and they say he is really close with his mom and wants to be near his family and i think that plays a huge role in recruiting.........i still think if UGA had made a bigger push for Omar Hunter he woulda signed with the Dawgz instead of the Gayturdz because he contacted UGA and wanted to be close to his FAM thats y he de-comitted from Notre Dame
Jones will be a fighting Saban when its all said and done
