Let's start for the first things :) There should a dim buttom somewhere on the dashboard, have you checked it? ( it may be just off) Second, there is always a fuse on this case. If all the lights are not working on the dash I am 99.9 % that a fuse is blown. If only some of the lighst work and the other do, then the bulbs are blown. HOw to check this problem? very simple ( but first you have to be patient ;) buy a tester look for the fuse box ( usually under the dash) ground your tester on a very good surface, open the switch all the way ( without starting the car) then start touching the fuses from the back. On the back of the fuse you should see a little two holes one on each side on it. Touch it any side if the light comes on then it means the fuse is good. Go for the other if the light doesn't turn on it means that there is something wrong with the fuse. You don't have to take all of them out in order to see if they work. If you already did everything I said and the lights still not working then, all the bulbs you have on the dash are broken. I can not be posible it usually never happen ( but I could have happened to you.) but that would be the last thing you need to worry about. I hope you fix it.

Dash lights are usually on the tail light fuse, if your tail lights aren't working , the fuse is blown

I had a 96 Ford Taurus and the speedometer quit moving whenever the radio fuse blew, go figure. I'd at least try pulling every single fuse out of the box and checking it.

It could be an electrical shortage or a burned out fuse.

I have the same problem with my car, the problem for me is an electrical shortage, which also causes other electrical problems in my car, if you have other electrical problems then your answer is a short.

check the dimmer it may be turned off. I think that it is a little roller beside your light switch.

check the fuses under your hood also if you haven't already
