Yes. I can't count the times I've put something in the oven and then go to check on it an hour later...ready for dinner..only to find out I didn't turn the damn oven on! And then there was the time I made a pot of coffee...waited and waited...cussed because I thought the thing was broken...and find out I didn't put any water in!....

lol...I could go on and on...

Yes, more often that I like to think about. I think that our minds just get off on something besides what we are trying to accomplish at the moment, so without being consciously aware, we are distracted momentarily and loose sight of what we were doing. Some things are just so automatic, that we don't even stop and think about it, only to discover something went amiss.

No, I never put a slice of pizza in the toaster oven for ten minutes, and then wondered why it was still cold, only to realize that it works better when you turn the oven on first. Never did that. Must have been my double!

I cuss if it works or if it don't. I'm just a crabby old man. I know what you mean I've done something and it does not work. I 'm cussing and then I notice had not turned it on. It seems to be happening more the older I get.

thats right. happens to people at all age.

Its just that we're so impatient, we don't take time to observe small details.:)
