Can caffeine temporarily improve concentration and mental focus a little?

Have you ever taken a FDA approved caffeine medicine and noticed that it temporarily improved concentration a little?

Yes. This has been proven scientifically.

FDA approves a lot of things but it doesn't mean it's good for you.

Caffeine is good for headaches (I know it sounds like a contradiction) and for improving concentration and focus, but keep in mind these are all rather short lived and there will be an energy crash later.

They are things that can only be discovered after hundreds and hundreds of trials. And of course, strict restriction needs to be in place. However, because the basis of science is always changing due to new discoveries, we need to also have sympathy to the drug company as well. They are not miracle makers, they only try to make profits by selling something that they "think" might help other people. Imagine the world without antibiotics and other medication, how many people would have to die? If we agree that science can be changed, the drug company might not have an excuse of increasing medication prices because of law suit. Also if we look at any other area that has used the socialist system it has bogged down and failed to live up to its Utopian promise. No system is perfect but open and free market is the best out there.

Yes it can. I think Excedrin would definitely have to be FDA approved. Any more than that isn't good for you anyway. It is highly addictive and give you more trouble than help you with trouble you thought you had in the first place.

Instead, use proper nutrition and exercise to give you all the energy you need. You don't need caffiene! If you have a headache, you need water. That's it - you'll be surprised.

There have been recent studies that show workers are more productive when they've had a jolt of caffeine. Unfortunately, the studies also show that after the initial increase in clear thinking and productivity, the workers then feel sluggish and tired later.

Yes, it can boost your concentration temporarily, but the side-effects last longer... do try and control your caffeine-intake as early as possible, or at least, before you become too addicted, coz it realllllly damages ur health....

And, for just that tiny boost, it's just not worth it! Don't you think?!?!?!?
