Yahoo Answer for Yahoo Questions. I actually paid attention in grade school. I thought that sometime, somewhere, something I learned might come in handy, and now I've hit the mother lode of clueless goofusses. I've found my calling. Your questions will be answered to the best of my ability - usually. When I don't answer a question correctly, I hope it will be obvious that I'm attempting to be funny, or maybe I'm just wrong.
Is there a delicious recipe for cooking Canadian goose?
They're a nuisance; noisy and dirty. We eat turkeys. Why not eat at least a few Canadian geese?
1 AnswerBirds1 decade agoI need help identifying a light brown hairy dragonfly-like insect in Ohio?
It's shorter than a regular dragon fly, light brown and hairy looking. The body is thicker looking that a regular dragonfly, but appears to have two pairs of wings. It flies constantly, never holding still for more that a couple of seconds before darting off. They seemed to travel in pairs within a couple of feet of each other. It flies along the edge of a medium sized lake along the mowed edge of the lake. They stayed low over the water, but seems to stay within three to five feet of land but not venturing inland. There were dozens of them at the lake, (Hudson Springs Lake, in northern Ohio) but I can't describe in more details due to their darting about. It reminded me a some sort of fuzzy lure a fly fisherman might use. Do you have any ideas?

I saw a fat lady at a K-Mart with a bad looking Stroh's beer logo on her arm. It was very jail house looking.

6 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoDo you every wonder, "Is someone else on earth listening to this tune?"?
Suppose you're out driving listening to a CD, and you're listening to some old tune, let's say "Look Through Any Window" by the Hollies. It's a good tune, you're singing along, and while the song is well known, (at least it was) it's hasn't been on the Top 40 list for a long time. Do you ever wonder, "Is someone else, somewhere in the world listening to this song right now?" It's a big world, there are lots of people, and there are lots of radio stations, CD players, etc. What are the chances that someone else is listening to this song too?

I can think of two.
Pudding - cooked puddling doesn't scorch when prepared in the microwave.
Rice Crispies marshmallow bars. Making the marshmallow mixture is extremely easy in the microwave.

She does to me. She just stands behind John and nods and smiles on queue. It's like she's robotic.
27 AnswersElections1 decade agoWhat does "I'll kill a brick" mean?
It's the title of a great sounding blues tune on the Stax label by "Hot Sauce." The whole title is "I'll Kill A Brick (About My Man)." I've never heard the expression before, but someone must know what it means.

2 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoNon-Americans: Was the TV show "The Beverly Hillbillies" shown in your country?
The Beverly Hillbillies was a popular 1960's American TV show about a family of poor backwoods hillbillies who became instantly rich when oil was discovered on their land. They moved to Beverly Hills, California, and encountered many comic situations. It's a classic of American television. Was it shown in your country? What country? Was it dubbed or in English? Did people "get it", understand the humor?
The black and white episodes were the best in my opinion.
