i want to go to college but i have a 2 year old at home and my husband is already a full time college student and works part time
i do not have anyone that can watch her so that i can go to get out of the house and go to school or work and i can't afford more than 2 days a week of daycare

Having conducted more job interviews than I can remember, having the drive to study from home if you can't go to college is one of the few things that would impress me. What college you went to, and often what you studied, hold zero sway with me.
An acquaintance who taught one time at Harvard business school told me he gave it away when he tried to fail someone - we don't fail people at Harvard was what he was told. Knowing what you were taught and proving that you can learn is what counts IMHO - not if you got in on-line - or where you studied.
Thanks

Actually, yes, it is worth it. I took almost all online classes, and then transferred to UCLA where I am now a junior. Just do it at somewhere credible. Take online classes through your local community college. That is what I did. I took some classes on campus, but most I did online. Online classses do not go on your transcript as online so no one can tell. All they know is it was a class at Orange Coast Community College or Palomar Community College. They CAN tell if your transcript comes from some random online university, like the University of Phoenix. Good luck with school!

My sister has and she siad that it was just about the same as going to a regular college, but I think it would be good for you because you have a family. I think that you would benefit from it and you probably end up saving money. Just try it and if you don't like it, then you can go from there. Hope this helps you make a decision!

Go for it! I have an online degree from Excelsior College in Albany, NY (fully accredited, well-respected, it used to be the distance division of SUNY Albany and went private several years ago) and I was accepted into a Masters program with my degree. Check out Excelsior - it's fabulous!
Good luck!
