going to get my lip pierced...few questions..?

I would recommend that you don't get your lip pierced. Just say no.

may be kinda tought because you wouldent want to take it in and out before its healed. So get it done during the summer. After that the best thing i found is to buy a retainer and Cut it. so theres only a tiny piece. It keeps the hole open and its very very hard for anyone to see. And you can buy retainers from the piercer. And to all the others that are like NO NO DONT DO IT...

ITS NOT PERMANANT!! Thats why piercings are fun...

Before getting a hole in your face...consider how it will look in a few years...do you see many successful people with piercings/tattoos that can be seen while on the job? Im not against tattoos or piercings...I have some tatts....but just make sure that when you get it, you wil be pleased with it in 10,15,25 years....even after your piercing is removed, there will be a scar where the hole was. Just think of how it will look when you are older and want to get a decent job...besides mcdonalds or wal-mart

You can either wear a plaster over it (looks lame but most people @ our school have to do it)

Or as you said you can buy clear things to go in it, someone @ school had like a little clear stick that just poked out, i guess it was mainly just to keep the hole open, i would presume the piercer would have these to sell, or infom you where you can get one

you can take the ball of (which is easy) or you can by clear piercings from lots of places. e.g websites, the piercer. the possibilitys are endless. I have it done, and so does some of my friends. Some people i know use the plastic one and its fine.

i have my lip pierce don't take the ball off or change it until it is healed cause if you do your going to affected it and make it more puffy and swollen just buy a clear one cause if you take the ball off and the stems falls out your going have to get it re pierced cause lip rings close up fast like in two hours

Why punch a piece of metal through a flap of skin? Because it is cool? Why not jab a foot long spike from temple to temple? All the kids are doing it.

when around my parents were around i just took the ball off, and it seemed to work

and yes, you can buy clear retainers, but im not sure if you can actually get them when you first get them done

you proba;y could get clear jewellery, but i dont think you'd be able to do it till its healed

don't pierce your lip. it's totally disgusting!!! your body isn't even yours so don't do anything rational.
