Satan wants us to be distracted away from serving God..so he entices us to the right and the left but we have to fight to get back on the road that leads to life.

"Left" and "right" are undefined.....they are different for each individual or group of individuals. You are saying that "walking in the light of the gospel" is "straight ahead". I know of many people who would say that is definitely "left"......others will say it is far "right". If you are a Christian, your definition of "left", "right" and "center" will be far different from an Atheist's or a Muslim's. The reason there is such a "division between the left and the right" is because there is such a divided opinion on religion.

The Deception In The Christian Church

The purpose of this letter is to warn all Christians, of the dangers that are

Infiltrating the Christian Church, so much so’’ that even, the very elect would be deceived. Matthew 24:24 { "For false Christ’s and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders, so as to deceive, if possible, even the very elect.} Strangely enough, most of today’s Christian leaders who rightly cry so mightily against so many evils are saying little if anything about the revival of sorcery that is sweeping both the secular world and the church, from yoga, music, hypnosis, parapsychology, meditation, and positive thinking. As I read the Bible and study the life of the Prophets of old and the life of all the apostles and Jesus, I have never heard from them that you can think yourself into prosperity. So were is this coming from, and it is all over the churches. The New age has crept in among us in a big way; some leaders think they see into ones future, they are practicing the same ways as psychics and soothsayers. They the deceived pastor’s preachers and so on, even think they can heal long distance, and they say I see somebody with this kind of sickness as if they were God Himself, as if they have His power to see from a distance. Please brothers and sisters do not run after this so called Godly people, because this is not in your bible. Fallow Jesus example and Paul’s, these are the true teachings you should practice. There are some falling Christians that all they seek is Power, and not to be holy, and so they put together what is called altered states of consciousness to learning, healing and development? The secular world calls it “mind power” Many Christians confuse for “faith.” Likewise, the impersonal “Force” that occultists also refer to as Universal Mind or Nature is naively accepted by large numbers of both Christians and non-Christians as just another way of referring to God, when in fact it is a substitute for Him namely Jesus Christ. {Positive Mental Attitude} motivational, and success seminars, the ability to exert “mind over matter” is no longer considered to be something weird or occult, but is now thought to be part of a natural, normal, yet infinite human potential that can be experienced by anyone who follows certain alleged “laws of success.” These New Age techniques are not new at all, however, but are the same old sorcery. Success is the name of the game today, not only out there in the world, but inside the church as well. Humility is out and self-esteem is in, even though we are urged in Scripture, “Let each esteem others better than themselves” {Philippians 2:3 {don’t be selfish; don't live to make a good impression on others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourself.} Now, however, we are being told that our problem is not that we think too highly of ourselves, but too lowly, that we all have a bad self-image, and that our greatest need is to build up our self-esteem. Though Peter wrote, in 1 Peter 5:6 {so humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and in his good time he will honor you.} we are being urged to “visualize” ourselves into success. Paul’s inspired declaration the Christ “emptied Himself taking the form of a bondservant… {And} humbled Himself by becoming obedient to … death on a cross”

I know I am off but you cannot grow amongst thorns and the people are not responding positive but negative towards Jesus Gospel so here it is just what the doctor order.Anna

You have nailed it...the biggest division in the church is not Calvinism vs Arminianism...it is legalism vs libertines. We have legalistic Calvinists and Arminians and we have libertine Calvinists and Arminians.

The libertines teach that God loves you so much that He doesn't care what you do and the legalist teaches that God will love you or not love you based on what you do or do not do.

One teaches "love" in the absense of truth which is false love and the other is staunch on the truth but loveless which is false truth. God is looking for worshippers to worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Both of these extremes are consistent with Gnostic roots. both engender bondage.

As for the division, I call these two groups Satan's lap dogs.

You see, one group lulls people into a false acceptance and false assurance wrapped around a loving God who has no standards. The other group lulls people into worshipping their own will and causes the successful to be incapable of teaching the ministry of reconciliation. Instead, they decide that if they don't want to be around someone, God doesn't either and temn worse they hang this sinful mindset on God and the Scripture.

So these two groups hate each other but what they do not realize is that they are both doing the work of the enemy and they both lay on his lap like puppies rubbing on each other,,,and they just don't realize it because they are both blind.

that division is the straight and narrow path that you are walking on dear friend. We must not go to the left or right but follow the narrow road that leads to eternal life.

The same reason there is a division on here between Christians and Atheists. We all believe different viewpoints are the correct ones.

Paul was getting no where fast getting converts in Tarsus.

The people there were mostly followers of Mithra. They believed that blood sacrifices washed away sins.

Paul blended this idea into his ever-changing version of Christianity. Only he supercharged it with the blood of Jesus (Son of God) washes away the sins of the world. Prior to this it had no part in Christian teachings. Jesus never said anything about it. It worked like a charm. Paul had a deluge of converts because He gave them something that they could relate to.

Constantine and his gang did not overlook this success Paul had with this blood sacrifices idea. They were trying to maneuver them selves into the control seat of the Christian faith. They adopted Paul's version of Christianity and the idea of God/Jesus dying for your sins. It was very effective because of the guilt it induced. They also took another hint from Paul's book of tricks and came up with a very similar version of Paul's conversion for Constantine. He too had a vision where the Christian Figure head came to him and converted him.

The rest is history. After the council of nicea all competing scripture was ordered destroyed and all true versions of the teachings of Jesus were labeled heresy.

All we were left with was the nonsense called the bible.
