Scared to try again?

My husband and I lost a baby girl in Aug, 2006 when I was 21 weeks along. Has anyone else on here had the cervical stitching, not have to go on bedrest and gone full or close to full term? I have a 3 year-old son and he is EXTREMELY active and I just know that I cannot do bedrest and I would go crazy sitting in bed all day long. I have some ideas of what I can do if I DO have to go on bedrest (Microwave, small fridge, laptop, TV/DVD player in the bedroom), but I can only stand watching TV for small amounts of time, on the computer, etc. I really want to have one more baby, but need to talk to some women that have been through this.

I know just what you mean. My first niece died at 1 year of luekemia when I was 13. I lost one with one girl and another with my soon to be ex-wife. I have 3 healthy beautiful children, but losing any of them is a constant fear I live with.

The absolute worst thing would be to lose them after they are alive, though. It was hard to lose the in-eutero but losing a living child would kill me, literally.

i have never been through this particular situation but i would like to suggest maybe waiting another year till your son is a little more independent.

and if you really want to have another baby you will handle whatever it takes to make it happen. good luck.
