Energy: Life Force: Soul: Being:?
This is open to all:
I have my answers, I would just like to hear all of your views on this matter. And pleace, let's keep it peaceful.
Our bodies are powered by a "LIFE FORCE", Spirit, Soul, Energy or what ever.
Now, where was this energy that is now you, before you were born? And when your tired old body dies, where does this energy, soul, life force, spirit go?
I am looking foreward to hearing all of the oppinions out there. This should be quite interesting.
Most of us have knowledge of the Christian Heaven theory. But there are also many different takes on that theory also.

I have two theories:
1. We were created by God spirits in ignorance. To achieve higher enlightenment and Knowledge, God created the Earth and the human nature so that we could be born as human and face problems and situations, going through different experiences that enlarge our perception, our intellect and eventually lead us to the Knowledge. We are born here over and over, several times, until we achieve such high level of Knowledge that we don't have to be born again. Our goal is to be as pure and enlightened as Jesus, who came to show us the shorter way and who is the biggest Example to be followed. The salvation is not in believing in Him, but in being like Him. Reincarnation is the Divine Law for that purpose.
2. We were parts of God, made of the same substance and even with the same power. For some reason, we lost consciousness, we forgot who we are and the power we have. We have been sent to this planet to seek our lost consciousness. We are born several times and each existence is a step closer to God, to the consciousness and to the awareness. Jesus is one of the messengers that brings Light to the darkness we find ourselves into.
In both scenarios, I see we are ignorant spirits seeking Enlightenment and Knowledge through several lives.
Where do we spirits go? In between lives on Earth, we go to a place where we have the chance to learn from past life, review our mistakes, meet our beloved ones and get prepared to be born again. Everything with our own desire and approval. After several existences and achieving higher levels of Enlightenment and Knowledge, we don't have to be born again, but there is still a lot of work in the spiritual world, because there are several planes and spheres there, and the progress continues even after our mission on Earth is completely done. Pretty much, we continue helping those still struggling in here. That's why we all have spirits and saints around us, intervening and helping us. They are enlightened spirits who don't have to be born again, however they still help us here.
I hope I made myself clear in so little space.
Peace!

There's the kinetic/ chemical energy of the body and there is the software in the meat computer- the mind- and then there is the awareness of that mind. This is the part not yet covered by mechanistic cells and electrons theory.I don't know where the awareness goes or if it follows mechanistic law .I believe the awareness itself is without adjective. It can't be described except as awareness. There fore you can't speak of it changing or differing. The mind changes but not the awareness except to be in a body or to not be.So I'm not saying there couldn't be a soul or a spirit but I'm not about to jump from that to putting any faith in the bible.

I'm still trying to figure out what I believe. I'm working on a theory that feeds off of string theory's multiple universes thing; where birth and death are the vehicles by which we traverse into parallel universes in a sort of reincarnation.
What happens after I die doesn't have a whole lot of impact on my day to day life; I try to be nice and moral because it's a good way to live, not to earn or avoid anything. So, I'm okay with being totally wrong about everything. I guess I'll find out (or not!) eventually. ; )

I never would have believed in a soul mate interior the previous, yet I definitely believe it now (i'm 40 9). I met the main astonishing guy a 12 months and a 0.5 in the past--we had the main astounding emotional and psychological connection as quickly as we met. i did no longer believe it for extremely a on a similar time as, even with the shown fact that that's only gotten improved and improved. i'm additionally agnostic, so even nonetheless i do no longer believe in eternal lifestyles, and believe our actual our bodies bypass back to dirt, i've got been open approximately different styles of procedures that our essence or soul ought to proceed in a style that we are going to no longer comprehend. i did no longer somewhat care approximately it in the previous, yet now, it would be extraordinary to be waiting to connect returned with my companion, even after my actual physique dies. yet because of the fact that i'm a realist better than an idealist, I doubt if there is something after dying.

"Christian heaven" is not a theory or even a hypothesis, it is mythology.
Energy is not sentient in any detectable manner, nor is there a "life force". It is only the combination of matter and energy that creates life.

it was a blank "pattern" of energy to which it will return.
