Death Note fans: If you were walking one day and saw a "Death Note" on the ground what would you do?

I would definitely be curious and pick it up. I would only use it if necessary, like if someone killed one of my friends or family. Then I WOULD use it...

I would keep it..just incase..

I wouldn't be the next Kira..Kira is "Killer" in Japanese, ya know? And I'm not a killer. xD But I would kill someone if they were doing a HUGE~ crime. Like killing everyone they see or pass by..and if they kill someone close to me. They will pay.

And if I didn't know what to do with it I would probably give it to L. ^_^

Usually if something that don't look like trash that I found on the floor I would take a look at it and if it's amusing or interesting I would keep it. And the death note look like something interesting even if it doesn't work. It would be really amusing finding something that says it could kill people with rules too. But still I would test it out just for the hell of it. But if it works yeah I would still keep it after all it has great powers and if it was in the wrong hands it could had been a lot worst.

I would be a hit man for hired if I have it. Yeah give me a name, a face and how you want them to die and also a date. Also sent the money to an oversea account in another name, half now half later. Also I would only kill the person if I got enough information on them to have a reason to kill them. I'm not going to just kill anyone, I would not kill people with good cause. I may kill the bad leaders but not the good ones. There should always be a good reason to kill someone. Most likely I would be hired by criminals and drug lords since being a hit man is illegal but I would probably be killing their rivals in the criminal business. But still my identity would be unknown to them since I could only be contacted through internet and phones with blockers and firewalls to protect myself.

Also in my special days I would kill people who deserves to be dead and make it all look like a accidents, all on different times and different days. I don't want to be god or seem as god. I don't have Yagami Light's ego to go psycho. No one would know what's really going on.

p.s. I don't think I'm a good person or have the right to just kill off whoever I want but still I would still kill off people who never break the law because their own action maybe within the rules but their intention are cruel.

I wouldn't believe it at first. Heh, I would think someone was pranking me...but I would certainly pick it up...then test it. But who? It can't be anyone I know, obviously. AH! Robert Mugabe. Perfect test! Then onto any and all who I deem guilty! My guidelines of morality would be law, punishable by death!

I would have those first few damed souls write out my doctrine in their on blood, by my own hand. All would eventually know the law. My law. Then I would need to train another. To continue after my death.

Would not even consider taking the eyes! What a waste.

Oh and Sakura!, just my opinion but I think the whole point is to get people to realize that someone's doing it. That's why people stop committing crimes, because they know another persons going to punish them. Me.

Well, having read the 1st eleven gn collections (waiting for the final one; Cincinnati's Public Library system on has ONE v12, but some sixty assorted v1-11...) I'd probably weld it shut inside a metal box, & bury that in concrete & use it for a cornerstone for a building...AND not tell anyone. Human beings are not wise enough to properly use that type of power.

I would be reluctant about picking it up in all honesty. It kinda looks old and worth nothing but then i would become curious and i would totally pick it up and if my shingami doesn't half scare me to death i would use it u know to see if it works but then i would feel guilty because i'd be like who am i to judge whether a person is good or not and whether they deserve to die but then i'd be like i human so i'm kinda allowed to by default.

as u see i kinda have given this a lot of thought but as of the moment i am still kinda undecided.

I'd become like Kira... I would want to do good and so start killing the criminals but I'm not sure if I'd get cought, cuz no one would suspect me (I'm not the type people would think is a murderer) and the police suck! But I'm also not as smart as Kira...

I'd have plenty of work to do as I live in South Africa! Lots of rapists, murderers and curropt politicains to pick off...MWHAHAHAHA!!!

I would pick up the Death Note so I could meet the Shinigami. Also I would only kill certain people. Like only the Top 10 Criminals. Something like that.

Yes i would pick it up and would be the next kira. I would hope that the next L was a male so could play mind games.

If I saw one I'd stop and then look around to see if anyone was watching and then I'd pick it up. I'd do what Light did except if I got caught I would just accept my punishment and I wouldn't kill law enforcement guys because after all they're just doing their jobs.

Yeah, I'd defiantly pick it up. I'm not sure I'd know what to do with it. I'd probably test it on some really evil person first.
