Is it mostly racists who talk about the "race card" and Obama?

Very rarely do I see anyone saying "I'm voting for Obama because he's black!" Most people who bring up his race do so to use it against him. Why are these people so hung up on the "race card" and when will they just let it go and see the MAN instead of the color of his SKIN?

Update:

I have seldom or never seen someone branded a racist for disagreeing with Obama's platform. I see them being warned of their racist ideas when what they are saying is just that.

Update 2:

"wouldn't you be implying that you are racist with this very question?'

Clever only if you had not read my post to see its purpose.

Certain cultures have been oppressed, and certainly some people of color tend to use that to their advantage, but some never think about it until someone else bring it up. I believe for the most part, people still live in the dark ages, they are blinded by Mr. Obamas color so much so, they cannot hear his message. Someone asked the other day what change is he talking about? I almost fell off my chair. Half of our forefathers look just like you. Please don't forget, he was raised by a "White Woman". His Mother, then by a " White Man" his grandfather. Read his book,"The Audacity of Hope".

They can't provide quotes or links. Because there aren't any. It's reverse psychology. I answered a question like this I think last week. These are the "behind closed door" racists that you hear about. The ones that will never say aloud how they feel about black people for a variety of different reasons but one that is most important is because they are cowards. They won't openly say that they are racists. Some may even think that their bigotry is NORMAL. But to answer your question, they basically say obama is a racist to cover up their own racism and hate. Some do it subconsciously and some do it knowingly. either way it's wrong. Thanks god they represent a small portion of Americans. Otherwise, we would be in serious trouble. I say ignore them... "Hate is too great a burden to bear. It injures the hater more than it injures the hated.” -Coretta Scott King EDIT: Obama clearly is not a racist. Anyone who quotes ANY lines out of his book needs to quote the entire book. Other wise your so called quote is out of context. Therefore, not describing the entire statement or the reason for the statement. See this is what they do, they jump on whatever they can to try to discredit Obama's character, they fail to realize that they are portraying themselves as imprudent, in every sense of the word.

The only people I hear talk about the "race card" are the political analysts who comment that Obama gets an overwhelming majority of black votes over Clinton while Clinton gets an overwhelming majority of the women vote except for black women (and this is including most minorities, especially Latinos). I don't know if any of this is true and I am certainly not interested in checking in on it. But the point is that I only hear political analysts talk about it. Besides, wouldn't you be implying that you are racist with this very question?

Obama needs to be replaced with Colin Powell. That is pure and simple as I can get it. for the people that like to play that race card He is a real potential President. Colin has the most potential than any one of the candidates out there (Demos/Commies or Republicans). He has the sac and experience to run this country the way it should be.

Obama is far left. He is endorsed by the UN and has the corrupt Kofi Annan's blessing. He has also been endorsed by globalists. Globalists think they're going to pull another slick maneuver on Americans, pull the wool over their eyes one more time with a candidate that will weaken the US. They believe that we will be too weak in another four years to fight the NAU, Amero currency, China's domination, UN control of our military. Do you really think that Obama is going to give you a straight answer if he's with these people? His agenda is to keep his followers in the dark with vague comments, his globalist handlers want it that way.

people bring up the race card because its obvious by the poles that race is playing an important factor in his victories... if white vote is split 50/50 among him.... then so should black vote but it is not, instead it is 90/10 in his favor... which proves to you some are voting based only off race and not policies... why else would the numbers be that big of difference...

I hear the media bringing up the notion of people using the race card much more so than anyone actually using it lol.

we can only hope people grow up.

people have a right to disagree with Obama...just like they can with clinton or mccain.

but why the need to get ugly? If you disagree with him and dont want him to win...just say i disagree with him because of this and that etc.... People should go back and read the golden rule..to treat others as you would like to be treated.

No, it's not. I see a fair amount of people on Y!A who are really pushing Obama's race as a reason to vote for him. I also know people in what I laughingly refer to as "the real world" that do the same.

The only ones I've seen using the "race card" are the press and the Clintoon's.
