Question about human growth hormone (HGH)?

Is it useful for weight reduction/maintenance?

I know of a person locally who is receving monthly injections of HGH; she says it is a great aid to maintaining weight loss, and that it has rejuvenated her, to boot.

Any thoughts on this?

she is putting hormones into her body that werent meant to be there. eventually it will bite her if she continues. yeah, i bet she feels good. she is kicking her body into thinking it is a kid again. her metabolism is likely racing. problem is she is an adult now. it is damaging her heart, her liver, everything. in time she is going to come up with cancer of some form if not a heart attack or stroke. there is a reason we dont do this naturally.

isnt it to obtain long-livety and eternal youth......heard it can cause high risk for cancer so even if you would look slimmer and younger, you might die sooner and its really VERY VERY expensive.....more for celebrities like Nick nolte,Goldie Hawn and Sylvester stallone.....and they did stop
