I am not sure if this answer would help, but you could consider this.
There is a reference to registration in Yahoo! for English other than US English. The help topic in this regards is:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/edit/intl.html?fr...
Maybe you could try to change your registration for your Yahoo! account to UK English. If you are able to do this, then it is possible that the spell check you get in YA might be for UK English, instead of for US English.
I don't know if what I have suggested here is going to work or not - I have not tried it.
However, I did go to Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Language and changed to English-GB. This change did not affect the way the YA spell check works - it still applies the US spelling and not the UK spelling. You can try this out and see if it works.

As a typical American i gotta say why not start a question and answer game in your country. One of the great things about being a human being is all the different stuff we've got to share!..:)

I guess not. this is like a "universal" site. the words you put in should be understood and accepted by everyone who uses the site. Hence, we must see to it that we put in the right spelling of words so our collegues in this site would know what we want to convey. In return, they could relate to us better.

Hehe... I know what you mean.
In the UK its colour not color and sometimes when I say "generalise" they try to change it to "generalize".
