Cramping during sex?
I am fourteen weeks pregant. When my husband and I have sex I experience a tightening feeling in my abdomen (a lot like menstrual cramps). It doesn't matter what position we are in. Is there any way to make this stop or will it go away on its own as I get farther along?

Your body is going to change and be sore anyways while muscles and tendents move and stretch for baby, its normal. You just have to give it time. some times it will hurt some times it wont. try to relax and rest on days you want to have sex

Sounds like your ligaments stretching, that can happen from a sudden change in position or by flexing your abdominal area. You may have to try positions that are less involved for you. Have you tried lying on your side with him behind you? This is the best position when I'm really sore, you don't have to be as physical and he can control the movements.

it is probably due to stress/tension. even if you dont realise it, your body has something to protect now. and if you try to relax a bit more, it might not be so bad. as for going away on its own, i'm not so sure!! its up to you. no harm can be done to the baby during sex. i've had 4 children, so i know what you mean.

you may be having braxton hicks contractons i know it sounds to early for them but i started getting them at 19 weeks....tighting of the abdomen with little or no pain and lasts between 30 seconds to a min and a half)
