Go to any hardware or Home depot type of store. Take the old bulb with you and ask for an 'Appliance' bulb to replace the burned out one.

Any Home Depot, hardware, or grocery store should carry the common 40 watt appliance bulb. If it is one of the special type bulbs contact your nearest Appliance Parts Distributor, or go on line to the manufacturer site and buy it there.

If it's a regular size bulb, use a regular bulb. There's no need for an expensive appliance bulb if a regular one fits. Ovens require an appliance bulb. It doesn't get any colder in a refrigerator then it does in Vermont, and they have outside porch lights that work fine.

Any lighting store, home center (Home Depot) and even grocery stores should have the light bulb you need. It would be a 40 watt appliance bulb.
