I have type two diabetes. I've been diagnosed for about three years. I keep it pretty well under control with a combination of diet, exercise and by taking metformin. About two weeks ago my tongue and the top of my mouth started feeling strange. They feel as if I've had a bad burn. Except I don't remember burning my mouth and they're not getting better. Is this related to my diabetes? Or my medication?

Easypro monitor - the strips are half the price of any others. Now, however, my Target store seems to no longer be carrying the strips. The strips were fifty for twenty-one dollars. Does anyone know of another source of the Easypro strips or of cheap strips and a monitor? I am employed, but no insurance.

on a cell phone. I have noticed that when I chat, my blood sugar does not go down, even though I may walk more than an hour and walk so briskly that the person on the other end of the line comments on my panting. Sometimes my blood sugar even goes up! When I walk listening to a tape my blood sugar always goes down thirty to 100 points. Has anyone else experienced this? Any idea what causes it?

choosing so many things, from MSN news stories to choices within websites. I have tried using the choice 'temporarily allow pop ups', but it doesn't seem to make a difference. My own computer is censoring me! Is there a way to make this stop? Thanks.

excersized daily, changed my diet completely, lost eighteen pounds and was hitting my target range so consistantly that I was thinking of dumping the meds. Then, about a month ago, I suffered a hearty emotional blow. I freaked out! Been on a smoking and eating binge ever since - I just don't care. I don't need a lecture (I know it's bad and self distructive - that's why I'm trying to stop! I know bad things happen to everyone and I'm being a big baby!) I am just interested in your own personal techniques for coming out of a tailspin and getting back on track.
